btrfs on my main work laptop
I have used btrfs as my daily driver file system for a very long time. I have restored my system with snapper and snapshots numerous times through grub.
I have one issue though and it may just be me, but I feel that btrfs is very sensitive to every day mishaps like system freezes and hard reboots. It seems to me that it's much easier to get a more or less corrupted file system on my btrfs powered machines after a freeze or power outage than on my ext4 or even ntfs ones. Sometimes i am able to repair things but most often if there's some corruption it's not much I can do.
Is it just me or is btrfs more sensitive to hard reboots than other file systems?
I'm not a developer, just a Linux user since 1998 kind of guy so I ask here since I recently had my main laptop freeze beyond reproach and did a hard reboot. After that my monthly scrub has been complaining about corruption.
