First time terminating, what did I do wrong?

Hey guys I'm terminating my cables in my new home build and all the keystone to keystone I did correct. However this is my 2nd cat6 connector try and both have failed. Is anyone able to tell what went wrong here? I'm going for the type B config. I'm using the 3 piece connector to help line them up. If you cannot tell what is wrong from my picture I understand. I thought it was a clear picture but I was in this Texas heat so could have been a factor!

New home build, does Frontier provide a exterior box?

We're finishing up a new home build and I've ran a pull line through a smurf tube that runs from our exterior to my network closet. I've been told as long as I do this they will install the ONT box in my network closet.

My question is what site outside my house where the smurf tube is. Do they have some sort of termination box for the fiber coming from tht ground? Do I need to provide something here?

Thanks

Is this room too small to go higher end on speakers for theater room setup?

My wife and I are moving into our new home. We are excited but at the same time we are going from a dedicated theater room setup in current home to this situation here (see pic). In our current setup I had some Monitor Audio speakers, 7.1 surround & 120" screen. The sound was the best part of this room. Anytime I had company over this was what I wanted to show off. We sat about 11 feet from the screen, had the rear surround about 7ft behind. All in all it sounded great. I'm not an audiophile but loved it.

Now, we have this as a "mini theater". Honestly it's just an extra room that I have zero clue what to do with. It has no windows so I figured why not try for a mini theater room. I really want to do a minimalist setup due to the size. I would probably go w/ a 65-75" TV at max, wall mounted. I was considering going with Monitor Audio in-wall speakers. Is this over kill in this area? Will I even experience the surround speakers? We'd literally be sitting at the rear speakers and the surround (L, R) would be some what close to them too. I tried to sketch up a little scenario of what I had in mind.

FYI - We had a small change to this plan. The red rectangle at bottom left is where the door initially was but that is now closed off and just a wall. The green rectangle is where you come upstairs to enter area (no door for now, we may do a pocket door). The blue arrow is to just indicate that this room is now swapped around (TV is on the other side, couch would be where TV showing, etc)

Blue squares are in wall speakers, red circle is sub. I prewired these areas just in case.

Would love any feedback! Is this workable, stupid, waste of money? The two bedrooms you see are not used by people regularly. One is workout room, other is guest room.

Two filters with my aquasure order?

I just ordered this kit for our new home we'll be moving into in about a month. All the videos I've watched I only see one prefilter installed after line in to the house. I'm guessing i got two since I have the kit that includes the cabonfilter system.

Just want to confirm I would only use the larger prefilter in the box in this picture? Thanks!

Concrete stucco or no?

Wife wanted the concrete stucco. I'm undecided but to me it kind of looks like it's unfinished. I did a AI thing to change the stucco to the same color as the rest. Disregard the edge there. That's going to get addressed.

She said once we have landscaping in it will look good. Curious to see others input. TIA

Is one of these wood floors better quality?

I know this isn't technically woodworking so I hope this is ok to post as I'm looking for people in the craft that would probably be more well educated with laminated wood. These are two pieces of wood floors in our budget. When it comes to reliability is one of these better than the other for traffic/moisture? We are dog owners so that's our main concern. Appreciate any feedback!

Edit: Thanks for the quick responses guys! We'll go with the top one.

Does Liftmaster 98022 have a direct drive like Chamberlain?

I keep seeing people say they are the same company and pretty much the same jack shaft openers but in my research on the RJO101MC vs 98022 I see the Chamberlain in a direct drive and in my eyes that is a big difference if the Liftmaster isn't.

Any feedback there? Thanks!

Recommendations for 2" recessed black trim dimmable outdoor lighting?

Hello,

Would like to keep budget per light around $50 or less. These are for soffit locations around the exterior of the house. I need them to have a black trim option, 2" and dimmable works with Caseta and canless/retro fit.

I do see Halo LCR2 has a black trim option that you need to order separate. Is this my best bet in my budget?

Thank you!

Can you powder coat on site?

I don't know a lick about powder coating. Could you do that on site? Our stairs are already installed and I'm guessing they planned on painting them vs powder coating. If this can be done on site is there a range in cost I should expect? Thanks!

Curious is there any concerns with some rain in less than 24 hours during initial coat of stucco? I believe this is a three layer process so this is the first part(after the wire mesh). They started a few areas yesterday and then we got some rain today. Just a curious homeowner. Thanks!

I have a awning over our front door that is about this same size. I cannot seem to find awning arms online unless it's with a assembly like a RV camper awning. Am I searching the wrong word?
