Why isn’t dynamic pricing illegal?

Why isn’t SURVEILLANCE PRICING illegal?

It’s so predatory. Ride share apps know that I’m going to work so I’m going to pay the price. They know how much money I have in my bank account. I could catch the bus and remove all banking apps from my phone but sometimes I need a ride and it’s too time consuming to exclusively bank in person.

In your opinion will it one day be illegal?

EDIT: someone educated me in the comments and my post should have originally said “surveillance pricing” instead.

Cheap camera or iPhone additions for content creation?

I want to start creating more content but I am unfortunately a perfectionist :((( I also run out of storage on my iPhone literally every other day.

What’s a cheap camera that I can buy to get started?

What are some iPhone additions I can buy to just use my phone as a camera?

I don’t even have the basics like a ring light, tripod, etc.

I would say altogether I don’t want to spend more than $200 but the cheaper the better.

This can also include software that it is good to have for editing or anything else I would need to record and post videos.

I have a large variety of ideas but the first thing I think I want to post is a few videos spanning a week of me cooking a whole chicken and using it for various dishes throughout the week. That video will likely just be me recording and then doing a voiceover with text.

I eventually want to make videos where I am showing myself and acting, etc.

Trying to start an MLM and I need (shitty) advice. The shittier the better!!

What should people be doing now to set themselves up for success in 2027?

We’re more than 1/2 way through 2026 and with the end of summer approaching I’m thinking a lot about 2027. We have 145 days until the new year. What are you focused on for 2027 and what should people do to prepare?

What’s your most unhinged “that’s not what the lyrics say but that’s what I heard”?

Damaged by Danity Kane. At the end of the song, I thought Diddy said “this too sharp ass” 😭😭😭😭 he actually said “this too shall pass” but as a kid i heard what i heard

If you had $100 and wanted to make the most money imaginable, what would you do?

Had a thought about investing money and what ways will give me the biggest ROI. Real world advice and examples preferred but actionable hypotheticals are ok as long as it can truly be done.

CMV: wiping the handle on the shopping cart before shopping is performative because everything else in the store that you touch is dirty

I’m a standard germaphobe like the next person but I do not wipe the handle because it just feels so stupid when you think about everything else you’re touching.

The only time I think it’s worth a wipe down is if you have a child right there. They’re not touching as much as you are and that’s their little area.

But if you just wipe it and then shop normally, literally what are you protecting??

Edit: auto-removed from Change My View. I’m new here forgive me

Edit again: if I wipe the shopping cart handle and touch items in the store then back to the shopping cart handle, my hands and the handle are no longer clean. We are also assuming that everything in the store is clean except for the shopping cart handle and we have no way of knowing that to be true.

I sanitize my hands while shopping if I touch something wet or gross but I consider the whole shopping trip a fairly dirty experience

What’s your “House Special”?

Mine is half pesto, half tomato sauce on wheat with pepperoni, olives and sliced tomatoes. On the pesto side, onions and chicken and on the tomato sauce side, sausage and jalapeño.

Could be way simpler but I like making it :)
