AP Chem or Physics C?

I have to make a quick decision (1 day) between chem or physics c and I can’t decide. I took honors physics and chem before and chem was hard for me and physics was easy. I’m super solid in math (easily got a 5 on Calc AB) but have heard that physics is harder. Chem just doesn’t click for me though. Which should I choose?

How do I find the right music?

I feel that I have a really great idea and the film is coming along visually but with the music I currently have it just is sludge to watch. I know I’m looking for some synth track but I scour for hours to find nothing that works. Have no budget so I have to pick something online btw.

Is there a more efficient way to search for the right track or should I just continue with the trial and error? I have a strong gut feeling that finding the right music will make everything so much easier.

How accurate are the Bluebook tests in knowing how I will do on August SAT?

Averaging between 1500-1540 on them, with test 11 most recently being a 1520. Heard that was the hardest one, so is that a good way of seeing how my score will be?

How do they create the uncanny valley look?

How do they create the uncanny valley look in those original videos like the Mandela Catalogue? Is there a way to do it in post?

How was this shot done?

Was watching a short film on YouTube and came across this shot. How do you reckon they did it? It’s so uncanny.

What’s an absurd but plausible way an unemployed person could make $500 in one day?

Consider that this person has no money whatsoever and owes someone at the end of the day.

No obscene methods.

Screenplays To Read

I’m looking to start reading some screenplays to see how the greatest of them all do it. What are some great starting points for both films with minimal and a lot of dialogue? Are the best screenplays the ones that read with the same pace as the actual film or the ones that contains loads of detail? Thanks

What’s the most obscure 5 star you’ve given?

Which films have you given 5 stars to that you think not enough people have seen/heard about? Are they genuinely masterpieces or have you given them this rating from personal preference?

English Section 2 Brain Fog

I haven’t taken the actual SAT yet but have done about 4 of the blue book practice tests. My math is pretty strong, as I’ve gotten 790 on the last two tests I’ve taken, but my English always lags behind (710-750). Usually, I’m able to get most if not all of section 1 right, but when it comes to the second English module, I get super stuck on the middle passage questions. The vocab, standard conventions, and everything else is fine, but those longer passages always tank my score. Is there any test taking tips that wound help me get through a little easier? I tried changing the order from backwards to forwards and also just doing everything that’s easy then going to the hard ones after, but I still have to guess on at least one question most of the time.

Also, how similar are the bluebook practices to the actual test? Worried that I’ll go in and the actual thing will be much harder than the stuff I’ve practiced. Thanks

Stressful Films

Looking to watch a stressful film tonight, preferably a really really good one (like 5/5) that’s underrated. Just saw Red Rooms and that was so good. Love films like Good Time, Uncut Gems, After Hours, and such. Bonus if it’s on Netflix, prime video, hbo max, or peacock.

Double Feature Needed

I’m looking to do a double feature but don’t know which films to watch. I love thrillers, especially stressful ones. My favorite double feature I’ve ever done is Good Time and Uncut Gems, so maybe something like that would be good. What’s your guys’ favorites?

Story Help

I’m making a film about a boy who sees visions in his dreams of space and celestial beings by hand of an ethereal voice that tells him he has the power of gods and the ability to move planets. However, he never actually sleeps because he has insomnia and one late night, a mysterious stranger calls him.

I’ve thought about what the call should be about and who is behind the other side but can’t figure a solid way to continue the story out. I’m just on the verge of getting to some sort of theme but I don’t want to go down the usual hole of “chosen one” stories. I just need some ideas to keep the story interesting without the two parts of the visions and phone call being too distinctly different. Any ideas?

Question About Freeport Sequence

Why does The Protagonist have trouble opening the door to the turnstile in the Freeport? Every time I watch the film, I wonder this because all Neil has to do for him is press a button and the door opens. Maybe I’m missing a detail.

Visions- Experimental Short

Visions

Made this with a very small budget and a friend.

I’m a young filmmaker in high school from Florida trying to get my name out there and have people see my work. Any feedback, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated.

I struggle finding the right stories to film because I have a limited number of people who can help me (usually just myself). Filming this was less difficult because I had a friend to set up lights and shoot, but alone, it’s almost impossible to know how a shot looks before you stop recording.

Thanks.
