Large variagated alocasia at Montreal botanic gardens
I found a shop in Montreal that sells houseplants and booze 💚
This is such a cool little shop. Sadly I'm an international traveller just passing through, so can't buy anything, but seriously, Marche Milton-Parc in Montreal is awesome!
Poorly designed bus stops that provide no proper shelter or seating, but somehow block most of the pavement.

Interesting to see an RAF anti-submarine plane over Glasgow
Spotted a slightly unusually looking plane flying low-ish overhead around 7.30 pm today. Turns out it's an anti-submarine/search and rescue plane. Looks like it switched on its transponder over the west coast before looping around Glasgow and heading back north. Makes me wonder if it re-fueled at Glasgow Airport?

An unfortunate self watering pot malfunction killed my Tandurusa leaves. "no problem", I thought, "there's new leaves on the way".
The self watering pot malfunction was that the rope somehow got pulled up by the soil when I was re-potting, and I didn't realize it. So the poor baby got dehydrated. I was ready for the glorious comeback, only to see that it was an influoresence! Typical alocasia!
