Im trying to finish within one term and fast as possible . I have 16 credits already and can get up to about 30-40ish I total via Sophia and Study.com. Deciding between Cybersecurity Assurance, Cloud Networking Azure or AWS paths . I had Sec+ , CySA+ and SSCP. They all expired. Took CISSP twice to renew them all but failed.

I am thinking taking the Azure route. Most of my work experience has used Azure but I never got any Microsoft certs. Also to note , I do have the leisure of getting AWS certs as a perk with AWS. On the other hand I’m thinking the Cyber degree since it does come with CCSP and more certs overall. And finally , since I’m with AWS , why not just choose that path. What you guys think

As the title states. I’m pretty sure networking in general is a success but I’m curious on actual jobs acquired after attending and networking.

Temporarily relocated and there is a Budo Taijutsu dojo nearby. I never heard of it. Searched the sub and didn’t find much. Anybody ever did it and what are your reflections of this martial art?

(37M) I’m out here temporarily and looking for something to get into. I’m coming from the Woodlawn (West Baltimore County) area where I was active with Hapkido , Kenpo and a few others.

It’s seems like mostly everything here is MMA or BJJ. Do you have any recommendations? Eclectic or hybrid martial arts interests me most. I’m not trying to compete. Just doing it to bond with my son(15) , self defense and conditioning. Located in Ijamestown if that makes a difference and trying to stay within a 15 min drive radius. 5 miles or less would be golden but seems unrealistic. Not really interested in pure BJJ. Royal Tiger Academy seems interesting on paper. Their MMA program seems to focus on things that interest me.

Everything is repetitive. Fast food ( McDonalds , subway, mission bbq , subway , Burger King , Popeyes etc) here and there. Cooking breakfast ( eggs , waffles , bacon , eggs , sausage pancakes etc) . Cooking an entree with a protein ( chicken , ground beef , beef , turkey , etc) and sides ( salad , veggies , grains , etc). wtf

Quick sink wash ups or bird baths don’t count.

Gemini maybe steering me wrong but can you guys chime in and tell me if it’s worth it. What roles you have? Any insight will be appreciated. IT market is rough as we know. Thinking about picking up medical coding on the side. After further digging online , it’s seems like some experience and certifications branching from medical coding have some overlap for CISA. Thinking about self studying for CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) and go from there. Anyone have any advice, success stories, or epic failures?

My guess would be auditing, GRC/RMF and AI based roles. What you guys think?

Ok! I’m a daddy. 37. I started cussing in middle school but never around my parents. But older cousins , cool uncles/aunts , some adults, older friends, my peers, I let it fly. Not towards or at them , but in general conversation when I was in middle and high school.

Fast forward to today, I have a 15yo junior going to the 10th grade. I know he has a potty mouth. But he does respect me and don’t cuss around me. We both are gamers. Kinda bred him into the gaming life. That’s on me although it may have happened despite me. Anyway, He asked me to play Marvels Rivals tonight. I said cool son. I’ll hop on. I know my son is a crash out over games. I used to be that way but I’m more chill now . He said “ Please dont get angry if I swear ima try to watch it but rivals brings out a new typa anger but ima try as HARD as I can to not.” Then he followed up by saying if I feel like I’ll cuss , I’ll mute myself. He apologized ahead of time just in case he did slip up.

I put my distance at 20 miles , tell me why every other swipe is 175mi, 200mi, 3k miles, 5mi, 90mi, 183mi. What thee fuck be going on ? They need to fix this. I got one match a million miles away that don’t speak English 🤣.

37(M)! Not gonna get into KM effectiveness, or criticism. That’s enough of that here and in other subs. I’m in Maryland , US and particularly interested Judo, but Judo is scarce here and if it’s available, it’s beyond the distance I’m willing to travel 2-3 times a week. I’m a 5 mile radius type of guy.

Anywho, spoke to the head instructor. Seems like a solid dude. Says judo is incorporated into their curriculum and sparring is apart of the program as you level up. My purpose is to bond with my son(15), self defense and conditioning. Me and son are gonna do a trial or 2 to feel it out in the coming weeks.
