Quick, what's your go to BBQ pot luck side dish??

I got a last minute invite to a friends 4th of July BBQ & was asked to bring some kind of side dish, but I'm not sure what to pick! There's accommodation for both crock pot plug ins, as well as refrigerator sides. What's your favorite that will fit a crowd of 30+ people?

Favorite Dipping Sauces For Tenders?

Hi! I'm trying to perfect my breading & frying methods for chicken tenders, & I'm wondering what are your favorite suggested dipping sauces for tenders? I tried ranch, but it wasn't my jam. I could do hot sauce, but just curious what others have tried & liked?

There's never any workers standing behind the meat counter at the grocery store

It's SO frustrating that although there are employees clearly assigned to work that section & its always busy, but they NEVER stay behind the actual counter so you have to wait forever in line with 20 other people until a random employee walks by & says "I'll go find one of the meat guys" & they eventually wander over from somewhere in the back room. They don't even offer a bell to ring to get attention for service which I wouldn't mind as much. This happens to me ALL THE TIME, regardless of what day/time I shop & it really grinds my gears 😒

Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls- first timer!

Used this recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction to make these *delicious* jumbo cinnamon rolls. This was my first time attempting homemade cinnamon rolls & it was easier than I expected with my stand mixer & dough hook. Only change I'll make for next time is double the icing at the end & use the whole block of cream cheese!

Don't get the ad hate?

I don't understand why so many people bitch about ad breaks in podcasts? How do you think your favorite creators are supposed to get paid to make their shows? The paltry trickle of $1 & $5 monthly patreon donations ain't enough to pay the bills full time, which is why a lot of the most popular shows are selling out to streaming services now to stay afloat. I listen to probably 30+ regular, weekly shows & I couldn't afford all the great content if the cost was all on me to subscribe to each individual pod like you have to do now with streaming services. I rotate donating what I can to my favorite creators, but it's not enough to replace ad revenue

Don't get me wrong, I'm annoyed by having to listen to ad breaks too, but I just fast forward through them when I can instead of throwing the whole show away. Do other people not do that?? I see tons of comments in this sub from people bitching about the ads in shows, & I just don't understand that viewpoint. I WANT my favorite creators to keep advertising if it means they get to keep making shows! Am I missing something?
