Sauron lego set!
I haven't built a lego set for I'd say 18 years! I used to be really in to lego... never lost my obsession for LotR, in fact that seems to only get stronger!

Carpenter by trade... me and my fiancée decided upholster our dining room chairs! 🪑
We got the table and chairs from a charity shop, when we first bought our house.

She recently found the breakfast bar stools she wanted on market place... so the chairs needed to match!
​
Went surprisingly ok with no arguments! Won't be giving up the day job though!

My social anxiety gives me anxiety. Anyone else?
I am a lot of things.
​
- I get anxiety from the idea of dancing (say at a wedding) but then when I inevitably dont I get anxiety over the fact I wanted to but didnt. Boring.
​
- the idea of a big social friendship group sounds amazing (i dont have one) but any attempt from people I get to know from work i decline, often not on purpose ... I might be working or need to sort something out ... those attempts to involve me inevitably stop. That gives me anxiety.
​
- I dont like the way i look or sound. Boom anxiety.
​
- I ultimatly dont care what people think. But I over think every reaction i have with people.
​
- I want to be a spur of the moment kind of guy... but I spend too long thinking about it.
​
I think one of my biggest issues is i just spend too long thinking about things and either miss the opportunity or the opportunity never arises.
​
Anyone else as ridiculously useless as me? 🙋🏼♂️

Will back it off 3mm away from steel all around for expansion and no bridging.
It needs sealing underneath, there is a DPC underneath it too!
Start off tight, you can always remove material !

A Thursday Morning...
Sat waiting to go in to the builders merchant, tired, 4 days in to a 15 day work stint.
This song comes on shuffle.
As I look at the ominous grey sky hanging over UK, its like a blanket of emotion, one of loss, loss of a person? Loss of time? Have I lost my way? Gandalf.
That skin tingling emotion, I am transported. Looking out towards Lothlórien... behind me are the mines of Moria.
A great journey lays ahead of me, but I am carrying the weight of the journey that has been.
This song is what I imagine would be playing if you were to glimpse over the event horizon, all that was, is, and could be.
The builders merchant slowly coming back, the blury noises of reality whisper... 'get to work'
I think 'give me a moment, for pity's sake'
