There’s no port to plug the amp cord into the guitar. It’s just solid plastic. My first instinct is to file a claim with MGA. However, I’m kinda sad because they usually send a random product from the same line instead of a direct replacement part. Does anyone know if they send actual replacement parts for the Miniverse Spaces rooms, or do they just send you a random room?

This sucks because the guitar was what I was most excited about :(

I set up dining room table doll scenes for each season. This year, I created little scenes in honor of the cherry blossom festival here in the greater DC area; the Lunar New Year; and AAPI history month. It’s sad to say goodbye to the displays. But I’m excited to create a new pool scene and summer wedding reception room for the summer.

All the furniture is made from random stuff around my house except for the couch. That’s an off-brand Barbie couch I repainted and covered with jewelry box velvet flocking sheets. Feel free to comment with any questions about how I made stuff :)

After posting a proposal scene with this happy couple, I knew I had to use them again for the June wedding theme. Bella is wearing an off-brand Barbie dress. I also turned Bella’s outfit into a pearl-studded Mother of the Bride outfit. The purple-eyed WC&C could totally pass for her white-haired mother.

Thanks to everyone who said it could work with RH dolls. I depinkified the scooter with Vallejo paint, then traced all the raised details with a gold metallic paint pen. The last photo’s what it looked like originally.

The hot pink wasn’t doing it for me. So I applied a few layers of Vallejo black paint and traced the raised details with a gold paint pen. Still deciding whether ai want to keep it a flat black or add a dragonfly glaze acrylic topcoat to add a subtle sheen to the “metal” parts.

What do you guys think? Has anyone else de-pinkified the Vamptastic Scooter?

I bought another off-brand embroidered fashion doll “ballet” dress but wasn’t sure which doll would wear it. The color palette’s so soft and most RH dolls have such brightly colored hair and eyes. Victoria’s subdued coloring ended up being perfect! The only thing I changed was her lip color. I repainted it with acrylic paint and sealed it with dragonfly glaze topcoat.

Does anyone know when these tiny blind box dolls are coming to the US? They’ve already been released in Zuru’s home country (New Zealand). I’d heard June, but no one’s posted about finding an inactive listing on any store sites, which usually happens a few weeks before release.

I’ve been on the lookout for motorcycles that work fit Rainbow High dolls. Can anyone share their experiences with this Draculaura scooter? If I open it up to test it out, I can’t return it if it doesn’t work.

I used a Dollar Tree mini basswood tray and flipped it on its long edge. The top and bottom are basswood strips and the round edges are BBQ skewers. I also decorated the front with the negative space cutouts from basswood frames I made with my Cricut Maker. The wood stain is heavily diluted warm brown paint sealed with mod podge

It will be displayed on the left side of a doll room in a box. But I couldn’t resist taking a front facing shot of it on its own.

The “Clothes as Art” Met Gala intrigued me. So I picked clothes that had artistic embellishments.

* The latest Iris is wearing an embroidered off-brand Barbie gown. I felt sad to see a straight-haired Iris, so I restyled her hair with pipe cleaners, then separated the curls.

* MFS Jewel is wearing Jett’s graffiti art gown. She looks stunning in red!

* MFS Kia is wearing a LOL OMG dress. I added rhinestones to add a bit of “art” to the dress. The purple fur coat is from the Miranda Priestly ILY 4 ever collector doll.

I already posted my OC doll wearing Andy’s outfit. She was originally supposed to be Anne Hathaway. When I fell in love with Marsala-red hair during the dyeing process, I started turning a bedraggled Laurel I thrifted into Anne Hathaway. But she looked so good in Miranda’s outfit. So now I have a raven-haired (with a few chestnut brown highlights) Miranda Priestly.

FYI, the shirt, skirt, and belt are all separate pieces. They’re not a great fit for RH bodies. But it’s doable because you can hike up the skirt and adjust the shirt fit using the Velcro closure to compensate for RH’s much shorter waist. Miranda’s signature scarf is just secured with a simple knot, so you can tie it around her neck however you want.

In case anyone wants to turn Laurel into a brunette, I posted what she looked like after a soak in hot cocoa brown, then dark brown Rit dye. She ended up being very challenging. Her yellow streaks became dark green while her red and orange hair became burgundy. This is really bad, as green and red are complimentary colors. So I couldn’t a little extra of another color would not cancel out the undertones. The only other option was to try to get such saturated color that it would cover up the base color completely. So I put her in an hot, ultra-concentrated cocoa brown bath for half an hour and ended up with a much darker brown than I originally wanted.

Her name’s Ramona Marsala and her color’s wine red (marsala is a type of red wine). She was supposed to be a Rainbow High Devil Wears Prada doll. But halfway through the dyeing process to get Anne Hathaway’s hair, I fell in love with the wine red shade.

FYI, the Devil Wears Prada Andy outfit fits normal Rainbow High, with the exception of the shoes and hat. I loved the shoes so much, I rebodied her on Andy’s body. But the head’s a little floppy, so I’ll probably put her back on the original body once I find a pair of cloth boots I like just as much.

I know this is a long shot, but at this point I have nothing to lose. Robin fell out of her carrier either at the NOLA Riverwalk, in the RiverWalk Outlet Mall, or on the walk back from the Riverwalk and the walk to 1001 S. Peter’s St behind the convention center. If you’re a NOLA resident and you happen to see this doll or hear of someone who saw this doll, please PM me. She is very missed.

I’ve already called the lost and found at the Riverwalk Outlets with no luck. If anyone here is a NOLA resident and knows of another place I can post, please let me know. I’m flying back home tonight, but I’ll gladly pay a reward for finder her and reimburse for the cost for shipping.

This is kind of a long shot, but this doll was lost somewhere in the Riverwalk area or right next to the convention center, probably on S. Peters Ave or a nearby street. Please DM me if you’ve seen her. She’s not a super rare or expensive collectible doll. However, she is kind of hard to find in good condition, so she will be a pain to replace. Please DM me if you’ve find her.
