Hey so i posted on here before and got few responses but they were absolute GOLD. I laughed my ass of reading all of them.

So new question, who do you think the fandom of my yet-to-be-published book "Monstrous" would ship? I will include a short bio that describes personality and appearence of my each main character plus some side characters that could end up as love interests for some of them.

Atlas Christyakov, M16 | Russian, Fluffy and Naive

Atlas is a Moth boy with a cute face and big black eyes. He has two feather-like antennae and his body is covered in fluffy white fur. He has two arms and legs, aswell as a set of large white moth wings on his back. He's about 5´5/167 cm tall and he's abit chubby but it just looks like extra fluff.

He's quite shy and kind, but also quite naive and easily scared of venus fly traps (especially the humanoid ones lol) and strangers. He's quite polite and easily distracted (especially by bright lights). He can be pretty detail-oriented though.

Vivianna Webber, F18 | Sad bad(t) girl

Vivianna is a vampire girl with long, dark hair that has a wine red tinge to it. She has red eyes and is somewhat pale. Her ears are slightly pointy and she usually dresses pretty goth-like. She's somewhat thin. She was bitten around 60 - 80 years ago but due to how vampirism works she is both physically and mentally still 18. She's about 5´6/171 cm tall.

Vivianna is cold and distant, she acts out and pushes those who're kind to her away. She has a history of hanging out in bad crowds because the general hostility somehow feels like home to her. She doesent know who turned her into a vampire and doesent really seem to care. Overall she's already pretty sick of her elongated life-span.

Daiki Cuong, M18 | barks, bites and burns

Daiki is a Hell hound boy with shoulder-length messy dark hair (think of the band Kiss), he's mixed Japanese and Vietnamese. He's about 6´3/192 cm tall and has an athletic, lean build. His eyes are magenta and he dresses alternativ most of the time.

Daiki has anger issues, when angry his hair is set ablaze with magenta fire. He can be somewhat sassy and observant. He has somewhat of a rivalry with Kade or as he calls him "Sucu-bitch". He still grieves his mom's death and has internalized sexism from his dad and grandpa who drilled things like "Boys shouldnt cry" or "Boys shouldnt be effeminate" into him, but because he's pretty rebellious the long hair is a silent rebellion.

Sanctuary (idk the last name yet), N17 | Prideful Angel

Sanctuary is nonbinary and an Angel. They have short, white hair that when the light hits it shines in various colours of the rainbow. They have golden eyes but no pupils. They're somewhat pale but have an average body. Sanctuary is about 5`8/175 cm tall.

They are arrogant and have a serious Holier-than-thou attitude. Sanctuary was abonded as a baby at the steps of a catholic church and was raised by the nuns. Due to that they are devout catholic and has been a tool of worship for their church.

Kade Grey, M17 | Underfed & Untouched

Kade is a succubus. He has long dark hair which he wishes to cut shorter soon. His eyes are purple-Ish, two thin but pointy horns sprout from his temple. He has a set of leathery wings growing from his lower back and a long but thin tail with a heart-shaped tip. He's about 5´4/164 cm tall. He's thin and has somewhat feminine facial features.

Kade hates to be touched. He also heavily dislikes getting wet and tries his best to stay away from beaches or out of rain. He has some sort of rivalry going on with Daiki. As succubus Kade would have to feed on emotional energy which most living creatures produce, but he's been refusing to feed on emotional energy. He's physically healthy due to a good diet of vegtables, fruit and other things but due to his emotional malnourishment he cannot fly or use any supernatural abilities he should have access to as succubus.

Mina Taurian, F18: A shy but gentle girl that sat next to Vivianna in their first Class and accidentally sprayed her with water once because she thought something in the garden was burning. She's very tall (taller than daiki) and a Minotaurus. Meaning she has two horns growing from her head and a cow tail. She also wears a silver nose ring. She is also very buff.

Aldren Zephyr, M18: A peaceful and diplomatic elven Boy who Kade, Atlas and Daiki are rooming with. He has pointy ears, short green hair and he's somewhat bulky and chubby. He loves to cook and is quite gentle.

(Kal)Ven Trapper, M17: A surfer dude and overall pretty chill guy. He was the first to greet Atlas at the welcoming party of the emergency transfers which was met with shock and surprise on both sides as Atlas thought he was about to be eaten. Ven is a Venus fly trap man. He mostly looks like a guy with shoulder-length hair except most of him is green and he has two venus fly traps on the back of his head which are apart of him.

Okay so i have three to five Main Characters (Havent decided with which ones I´ll stick or cut yet) and i´m curious. How would a fandom misrepresent them?
I´m pretty curious and think this could turn out relativly fun... or very very horrible.

So, there\`s Kade 17M, Atlas 16M, Daiki 18M, Vivianna 18F and Sanctuary N17.

My characters are all students at the same school. (I am ever so slightly inspired by Monster High)

Kade is a Succubus, he hates being touched as well as getting wet (never try to bring him to the beach or out in the rain.) He eats human food healthily but generally underfeeds on emotional energy so his supernatural powers are highly malnourished and he is unable to fly. He prefers solitude and observing how others interact from afar. Some might say he curses a lot and gets mad easily, however he doesent usually show when he´s mad and is rather quiet and timid. Due to trauma he would actually love to give up control but has trouble with that, he also has self-esteem and body image issues. Likely thinking he´s too chubby or not pretty enough most of the time.

He\`s pretty thin (not to an unhealthy degree) and has somewhat feminine features and has recently gotten a hair cut (actual point in the story lol). Which means his long, luscious locks were cut in favour of a fluffier, shorter hairstyle. He has a set of wings that sprout from his lower back. Two thin, pointy horns about the length of 4 inches or 10 cm. He also has a rather long, thin tail with a heart-shaped tip and he\`s about 5´4 ft or 165 cm tall. He´s white.

Atlas is Mothman. He is easily distracted (especially by good food or bright lights lol) and is somewhat naive. He takes a lot of metaphors or sayings literally. He´s got difficulty keeping left and right apart and is scared of Venus fly plants. I´d say he\`s rather gentle but blunt at times. He does enjoy being among people but is easily hurt by misunderstandings. I would also say that he´s mentally somewhat underdeveloped being more akin to a twelve or thirteen year old.

He´s somewhat chubby and covered in white fur which makes him look quite fluffly. He´s got two feather-like antennae and big black eyes. He has two arms and two legs. There´s a fluffy collar of fluff around his neck to his chest which is actually his own fur. He\`s also got two large mostly white wings. (He\`s based on a Silk Moth) He\`s about 5´2 or 158 cm tall. I honestly couldn´t tell you whether he´s white, black, asian or latino or smth else. I do think that he should have russian roots.

To be completly honest, i have no idea what manner of creature Daiki is. It is very possible that i created a creature and thats just what he is now i suppose. He´s got about shoulder length black hair and red eyes. He is of Asian Descent, i am thinking Thailand or Vietnam. He´s almost 6´3 ft or 192 cm tall and does have more of an athletic build. When enraged his hair is set aflame with magenta fire.

Daiki has severe anger issues, he´s often loud and quite rebellious. I´d say he has a soft spot for certain people and still strongly grieves his mother\`s death. Even the mere mention of her could set him off with either tears which he´d hate to show or extreme anger. I would say he has internalized Sexism about "men not being supposed to cry or be soft and gentle" induced by his father and grandfather.

Vivianna is technically the oldest as she\`s a Vampire of 60 - 80 years but due to how Vampirism works in my setting she\`s mentally and physically still around 18 to 19. She´s rather cold and prefers being left alone. She\`s scared of letting anyone get close and become dependant on them so she often lashes out and pushes the people who´re nice to her away. This often makes her hang out with toxic people, which chain reacts into her acting toxic towards others as well. Inside she´s a scared and deeply traumatized girl sick of her longevity. She also has extreme body image issues, she thinks she\`s ugly and fat. She only sees the imperfections.

She has long straight black hair with a slight wine red tint. Her eyes are cat-like and magenta. Her ears are slightly pointy and she´s very pale. She´s somewhat thin and tbh if it matters to anyone she´s quite flat. I´d say by heart she´s goth but due to her constant mean girl behaviour she´s got blonde streaks in her hair and wears way too much modern popular girl clothes than she´d actually likes. She´s about 5´7 or 172 cm.

Lastly Sanctuary, my racially ambigious, non-binary biblical angel. They´re arrogant and have a serious holier-than-thou attitude problem. Due to the enviroment they grew up they see themselves as very important. They also dislike anything even remotely unholy (So they immeadietly disliked Vivianna, Daiki and Kade lmao). They´re also devoutly catholic.

Sanctuary is about 5´8 or 176 cm tall and neither too thin or too chubby so i´d say quite average. They have somewhat short white hair that shines with the colours of the rainbow when the light hits it. Do you remember those hair cuts that look like mushroom tips almost every teenage boy had a couple years ago? Yea, thats their hair cut. They have golden eyes with no pupils. Their nails are naturally black. Usually they hide their supernatural traits (an ability that almost every monster has but can´t hold for more than a couple hours). But when revealed you´d see that they have two set's of purely white wings covered in the same golden eyes without pupils. And three glowing, golden wheels which rotate around their head in different directions, covering the two eyes on their face.

Everytime i want to write a character with a really strong accent I like to actually write out what they sound like. Do you think that would immerse the reader more? or less?

It requires me to mispell some words on purpose, personally i think it makes it easier to imagine what they sound like.

(I was actually writing a character with a very prominent accent which is what made me think of asking for other´s opinion on this.)

Hello (18M), my question truly doesent come from a malicious place, it`s just a stupid question because i want to do something right. I hope my question does not offend or harm anyone.

I am writing a book about young monsters in high school (it is inspired by Monster high) and the Principal happens to be in a wheelchair.

When a Wheelchair user moves via their wheels, is this called driving, walking or is there another term that would be more respectful?

One of my friends (20 M) recently told me and another of our friends (21 M) that he has trouble coming to us with dark and depressive stuff (all of us have mental health issues). He usually comes to us with such things over text and has the feeling that we only respond in "copy paste - oh no responses" and that we dont understand some of the stuff hes going through, which is fair he has a lot of different problems than us. But he knows that we care about him but its hurting him more to come to us with it.

He wants to remain friends but i want to put in work to be a better friend so he can come to me with stuff like that, we're all scared of developing an all-happy shallow bs friendship. I´m going to talk about this with my therapist soon as well.

Please help me.

I survived almost 13 years of almost daily bullying, recently got diagnosed (kinda late) with autism. I also have very bad abandonment issues, self-love/esteem issues, depression, social anxiety and my friends tell me that i must have some very bad body dismorphia. I´ve lived most of my life with no real friends, the few irl friend groups i was in often ended after a few weeks and with me hurting.

I realize i´m also the youngest of this friend group but it has never really played a role with us. I´m also the newest addition having only been friends with both of these guys for almost 1 and a half years now, while both of them have known eachother for almost eight.

I´m begging you, help me be a better friend so i can help my friend. I will repeat again that i will also talk about this with my therapist on my next visit.

I´m 18 M with long-term depression, social anxiety, self love- and esteem issues and i´ve been told that i might have a pretty severe body dismorphia. I was also recently diagnosed with Autism.

I´ve survived almost 13 years of severe bullying, i´ve been told to kill myself, been sexually assaulted and i have an emotionally neglective mother (48 F). I´ve never really had any real friends (until about a year and a half ago) and the few times i was in friend groups they didnt last long.

One of my friends (20 M, lets call him A) recently texted me and another friend (21 M, lets call him B) in our GC and even though it hurt him to say it he revealed (after i insisted he tell us) that he does not feel that he can come to us with his mental issues because he feels that we dont understand some of his struggles and that he only receives "copy paste - typical oh no" responses.

We´ve already established that me and B are pretty bad at reacting to such things over text and he feels bad telling us things irl because he's scared that he'll lash out.

I want to learn how to respond better, so i can help him in the future and give him the feeling that he can come to me with stuff like this again. I care about this man a lot (so does B, and he cares a lot about us too) and i want to be able to help. I feel horrible for not being able to help him.
