subtle regression during hard times?

I'm going through some medically difficult and scarring times at the moment. I realised recently I've been regressing– I've dropped all my "adult" hobbies like sewing, painting or beading. I'm watching disney movies, reading fairytale stories, I'm playing with dolls. Regression in the past, as someone w DID, used to be very clear cut and feel even distressing because of the childlike, toddler-ish state of littles fronting. I am not experiencing this now. I mostly feel like an adult who enjoys kiddie things. Or maybe sometimes like an older child than a toddler? Hard to tell sometimes. Do you relate to this? Does this sound familiar to you?

found this doll in a thrift and the labels lead me nowhere, do you recognise her?

She has a green tag written EMILY with a ladybug. I've reverse searched, google searched emily soft doll, emily fairy doll, emily yarn hair doll, etc, nothing. I keep getting results of other, non-similar soft dolls and american girl dolls. I wrote to the email on the info label info @ camile .com and the email doesn't exist anymore. Do you recognise this doll? I would love to buy other colors if they exist. Thank you!

is there such a thing as a lalaloopsy loopy hair with a soft body?

I love how stimmy the thin, soft strands are compared to the usual chunkier yarn hair we see on dolls. But I'd like something more huggable than clunky plastic. Does Lalaloopsy make loopy hair in soft bodies? Or would you know of a soft doll that has thin thin yarn hair like the Lalaloopsy ones? Tysm!

cozy forest adventure for someone sickly

Please recommend me books with cozy forest adventures. I'm looking for details on the flora, the greens, the air, the streams or creeks, the mountains. I'm an avid backpacker and have been sickly and can barely leave the house now. I feel homesick for the woods. I am looking for fictional travel logs, fantasy, slice of life, found family. I do not want action, hurt or death. Prefer no romance. I HAVE read "Psalm For The Wild Built" by Becky Chambers and would love more books like this. Thank you

HS flare on the edge of areola, not sure how to manage?

This is the first time I have an HS flare on my chest and it's the first time there's a visible inflammed follicle or potential exit point for drainage. Previously all my flares were buried deep under the skin, never surfaced, never popped, and eventually went away on their own. I believe it is progressing due to stress and diet. This one is right on the edge of where the areola meets the skin. How can I best take care of it? How do I know when it's ready to drain? Right now it hurts a lot. I'm a pumping mom and I'm not able to pump from that side, the breast tissue is too painful and sensitive, and it seems to be messing with my production. Thank you for your advice

looking for a small, square-ish ereader with frontlight

I've been looking at mini ereaders and the kobo mini snagged my attention, as did mopad. I like that they are small, easily pocketable, SQUARE OR SQUAREISH SHAPE, under 4-5", but....frontlight please? does this exist?

going on over 12hours of shitting blood, is the conclusion reasonable or should I ask for a second opinion?

I started being brutally ill in the middle of the night, originally green, and then quickly turned to blood, which it still is after all these hours. I'm having diarrhea every 30min 1hour. I am nauseous, it is extremely painful in my abdomen and lower back. I went to the ER

-no fever

-blood samples show inflammation

-CAT scan clear

-no fissures, no hemorrhoids

Doctor says they can't find what wrong, the inflammation might hint towards a bad food eaten or something viral, they don't know, and they've put in a referal so I can get a colonoscopy within the next 6months. We're also waiting for the results of stool sample and urine sample. I was told if it worsens (fever) to come back to ER.

I am not asking for medical advice. I would like to know if, considering I am still bleeding everytime I go to the toilet, its reasonable to wait possibly 6 months? and if not, what should I do?

stuck in a cycle of injuries after starting hormonal BC

I need help! Since starting a progesterone-only pill over half a year ago, I've been accumulating hypermobility-related injuries like crazy. I've dislocated my knee even through a brace, I got shin splints so bad I felt like vomiting, I've sprained my ankle doing absolutely nothing, my tailbone is bruised by going on the bus. Every injury I've tried to power through, and made it worse, then I end up on bedrest for a couple days to a couple of weeks. So I decondition, and when I'm back on my feet, I get hurt pretty much immediately. It seems impossible to build up the muscle tone I used to have before starting progesterone. This is the only BC that has worked for me after years of trial and error.

TLDR I know progesterone is a hormone of laxity, but there HAS to be a way to strengthen while on it. Is it possible? If YOU were on a progesterone-only pill (POP) and sustained hypermobility injuries, were you able to build your strength back up or is being wobbly just part of it?

colorful phones that work in canada?

the only flip phones I've found that have color are the barbie phone and the kyocera 902, both in pink, and I'd like to have a phone that's...not pink or black? the amount of flips available in canada seem astronomically low, but if you've managed to make a colorful phone work in the area, please tell me. I'm looking for a green or yellow phone

zionism even in "good" groups or idols

Zionism is so rampant, even in supposedly good or recommended groups that may have spoken up on the matter or donated $, there are problems like collabs with zionist artists, taking up brand ambassadorships to zionist brands, using & advertising zionist brands...it's overwhelming, infuriating, and disappointing!

I'm struggling to find groups, especially boy groups, that are clean of zionism. It seems like at this point, if it's not them, it's the company, and if it's not zionism, it's culture vulturism, and if it's not that, it's racism, and etc etc etc. URGH!! Just be a brand ambassador to a new up & coming fashion artist?? leave the shitty brands behind.

So I'm asking do you have group you'd recommend, all this considered? And also making space for a big whine about this because what the fuck. The entertainment industry is a mess and I wish it was possible to enjoy music without constantly wondering how humane the person behind it is. Wish it wasn't even a question.

how do we feel about buying secondhand tickets for boycotted groups?

How do we feel about buying secondhand tickets THE DAY OF concert for boycotted groups or groups from boycotted companies?

I've heard that buying secondhand can be bad because the seller themselves still buys from the artists/company, so I'm wondering what we think about day of, since that reduces chances of that?

ETA

are we doing boycott as in buycott, as in not buying from the company/artist? (ie: thrifting shein vs buying from the website)

or are we doing boycott as in the item/person/company/etc should not be visible at all?

or a secret third option

way to add a joystick to a DSi?

I'm a hypermobile gamer, so using the control cross all the time has my bones slipping out their sockets. After seeing this video of someone adapting a gameboy https://m.youtube.com/shorts/0X_l-pOzfK0 I am wondering if there is an equivalent for the DS? Something that can be put OVER the control cross to essentially turn it into a joystick?

The carpal thumb bone, the trapezium, keeps slipping out of where it should be, and it's really messing with my grip (and also starting to encroach on my joy in life because having no thumbs really sucks).

I can't tell which direction it's going in, visually I can't really tell the difference, and there is no clicking, snapping, or crunching when I wiggle my thumb about using my other hand that indicates something snapping back into place, so at least not a dislocation. Sometimes whatever is going on in my thumb gets better if I squeeze my wrist hard and get a surprise crunch that indicates something else in the carpal wrist bones was out of place.

I've asked so much help over the years and where I live simply doesn't "do" physiotherapy for people who are uninjured, as in their problem isn't a "fixable", clear timeline kind of thing like a work injury or an accident. So I don't have access to physio. I use immobilising thumb-wrist braces sometimes when my joints start wriggling out of place....is there something else I can do? to strengthen, to prevent? Lately it's happening especially when I'm gaming.
