RIP to the leaves we lose

May they bring us many many more new leaves in the future 🪴😍
Cut these leaves a few months ago because they had weird holes in them…. Now she gives me 100 new leaves a week lol 😂 so I’ll keep chopping! I decided Monday to cut them off for good, that’s why I’m hoping she keeps growing!
Obsessed with scindapsus so hard

My newest additions

Little heart leaf & big heart leaf - I’m not sure of their exact names. I love the way they grow, it’s so unique and viney! Just added the cuttings to soil recently & saw another was ready so I added it to the same pot :)

Wish me luck!

Just stuck these cuttings in soil - the stems were much longer & rooting in water but I figured it was time to bite the bullet. I love this plant so much & im so hopeful it’ll grow & thrive! I potted several cuttings a few months ago & they did not live sadly.

Newly planted from props!

Just hoping to get some words of affirmation that I’m doing this right! 😭🥹

So this should be n joy & regular both pothos! The green hanging planter has water & string in the bottom planter & the other was too small so I put inside the small clear baby planter! (Wanted you to see new little baby leaf in green planter, that’s why I didn’t overfill with soil) :)

Hi are these too small?

Long story short I ordered these online & they look so small & im wondering if you all use cambros. I have been told straight edge & clear & that’s what I went for!

Please let me know. I typically do 1 loaf per “bowl” so I am only worried about making 1 loaf in each container, as I now have several lol 😂

Choco Oats 😍

Recipe below ⬇️
Side note: I saw someone do this & immediately was like why the heck haven’t I done this?? As a certified chocolate and certified oats lover???

Recipe
Rolled oats + water + salt
Once almost cooked add 10 chocolate chips & a dash of cinnamon
Once done bowl her
Add butter (always lol) and I also did a splash of milk!
Add sweetener if you need (I did not)
This was a 12/10.

I found the courage

To put this cutting I got from FB into moist soil + perlite. I’m so NERVOUS, but I’ve seen that it’s easy & I’m hopeful. I only got 1 of this specific plant type cutting, so I’m very much looking forward to this living & thriving. I think she’s one of the most stunning plants on earth. 🥰😍✨

Update: removed bottom leaf! Posted pic for reference in comments

Help please 🙏🏼

This was 3 or 4 cuttings I put into soil about 2-3 weeks ago. It’s still looking so dull & lifeless and I’m wondering if anyone here has any helpful tips to make her happy again. (Also maybe it is happy and I’m crazy???)

Thank you!!

I’ve avoided overwatering as this is my most common way of fate. It’s in a north facing window!

Just potted my first 2 trad cuttings!

I’m new to the plant community but quickly fell in love with the trad family!! 😍

I have pistachio & violet hill from what I’ve gathered as well as a nanouk hanging out in some water.

Tell me your thoughts on the process so far

Both planted cuttings (pots) were rooting in water for a bit until I realized you could simply put them in soil straight away, so I figured why not I’ll give it a try!

Just planted my first peperomia cutting 🥲

I’m so nervous you guys! Let me know how it’s looking so far!

Back story: been in water for 2-3 months (had a small amount of roots at the end) was growing a bit crooked and deformed so I wanted to get it in soil in hopes it’ll thrive!!

Advice!

I have had very few issues with water propagation for majority of my cuttings. I’ll start by saying I also don’t own any of the mother plants.

I just wondered what are your thoughts and favorite ways to propagate all kinds of different plants?

I’ve never used anything but water except for a snake plant leaf cutting currently in soil + perlite

Photos always welcome!!

I’m officially a tradescantia owner!!

I could cry, I’ve wanted one of these since I first laid eyes on one. I stumbled upon a FB marketplace find & they happened to have 3 different variations. Idk which ones they are except “pistachio”.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it shimmering!!! It looks like literal glitter. I’m so impressed.

Hi, these have been in my fridge for about a year, give or take a couple months. Very curious on if the black juice can be mixed in…? Thrown out?? What’s yalls take? I didn’t intend to leave them in there so long. Life just happened. Anyways! I’m ready to bake again asap. How can I get this going again?
