Called out Professor Pizza for their vegan upcharge on a google review, they got all defensive

I'm disappointed because there aren't many vegan pizza spots that deliver to me and wanted to try Prof Pizza. The 12" cracker crust vegan supreme was $40+ plus delivery.. and it wasn't great either.

I guess I'll stick to Sarpino's. They load up their vegan za and have their own delivery staff plus a pretty decent rewards program. Prof Pizza uses Toast delivery.

In the meantime, I'll keep daydreaming about a fully vegan pizza joint in the city

💅🏻 Are there any indie nail polish brands based in the city?

Hi there -- I'm really into indie nail polish and handmade brands that mix and bottle their own polishes. Are there any indie nail polish brands based in the city? Not interested in the suburbs or NWI. I want to support a local brand but can only find Pear Nova, which seems to be mass manufactured.

Thank you neighbors 💅🏻

[ISO] newspaper

Does anyone have any old newspaper laying around I can have? It can be from any date, from any newspaper, I just ask that it's clean (some dust is fine) and published from the city of chicago (not the suburbs or another city).

I will come pick up from you as long as it's accessible by CTA. Thanks neighbors! 🫶🏻

Anchor Falls Asleep On Air

I happened to see this snippet on tv earlier today, just curious everyone's thoughts on it. What's irritating to me is that people act like just because they procreate they deserve special treatment. This was never a thing many years ago.

Just like I will never understand people forgetting their children in cars. I babysat my cousins - an infant and a toddler when I was 18 and never forgot that they were in the car if we went somewhere. Maybe I am being too harsh, idk. Just curious everyone's thoughts on this.

Did anyone else play Harvest Moon: Wonderful Life and try to adopt Carter's chihuahua? 😁

I always tried because he's sooooo cute! 😍 I might have to make a ribbon collar for my boy.

What if Bonehilda was the paranormal career reward object? ☠️

I was thinking about how much I wish Bonehilda was included in TS2, which led me to imagine that it'd be so cool if she was the career reward object for paranormal instead of the grim reaper phone.

Does anyone else have any ideas for "alternate" career reward objects?
