Iron saturation low and ferritin low ( newly celiac) questions

Hi everyone,

So I recently got bloodwork and my iron saturation and ferritin were on the low side. I see thats normal for people with Celiac.

My question is.. I had bloodwork taken like a year ago ( or a little longer cant remember) and my bloodwork seemed fine.. now I'm 2.5 months into GF diet and their low. I dont feel like I have major iron symptoms except a little fatigue, constipation and heavy periods for now.

Think ita a coincidence and its from celiac damage ? Or could be the diet is causing low iron?

Any helpful insight would be great! Will be talking to my PCP doctor too but figured I'd ask the experts on here!

Thanks..

Antibiotics necessary after root canal infection without any signs of infection, but endodontist said infection was pretty bad?

Edit to my question- no visible signs of infection, I mean.. like fever, really bad pain etc..

I was prescribed antibiotics , she said it looked bad enough. I had no pain/fever prior. this root canal infection was found by accident on x-ray.

I really- and I mean really can't take medicine now due to a whole host of GI issues- like a lot due to autoimmune illnesses I have going on and still trying to heal my gut. This isn't take a probiotic and it'll help sort of situation, believe me.

my question is- I am still aching a bit on and on third day now. Do you think this warrants antibiotics? I also really don't want to put myself into an emergency situation g-d forbid. I did ask her and she said if it still aches try to take another dose or two. But, I have no other signs except just a little pain- thank g-d

Any helpful insight? Obviously I will call if it gets really bad- I PRAY not. thank you.

I got myself a cap. I saw to wet my hair before, as well.

Got a conditioner specifically to get chlorine out.

Any other tips?

Thanks 🙏

So I've been trialing clarifying shampoo on and off. Mostly my SD is under controlled.. but then I just used a clarifying shampoo and it made my face all red again and honestly didn't make my hair feel any cleaner looking really.

Curious if anyone went through the same.
