Title mainly says it, idk if it just my algorithms catching up since I don’t use social media often or not. I’m gay and trans ftm so it just confuses the hell out of me how people can be gay and be homophobic to lesbians specifically (for example) or queer people being transphobic. Like who cares who somebody is attracted to or what gender identity they have

Been here exactly a week (to the hour) and I’ve already gotten way to many pictures of him, and he has four gifs that my friends and I use already
I’m trans (18) ftm and my old art teacher gave me this book. She was severely religious (Christian) and severely homo/transphobic. I’m probably never reading this book anyways but I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a transphobic thing just based on the synapsis on the back (and the fact she was heavily against me in specific)

Spinner’s one week mark of being here is on Tuesday. He hasn’t really been skittish at all, he doesn’t hide much at all, he’s active and eating good
Well I mean he took food out of my hand day two when I put it in there for him, either way I’m rather surprised because I’ve been told it’d take over a week before he even got near my hands
But yeah, I offered him my hand and he just sat on it for a bit before my dogs started barking (not in the room but through the walls) and he went back in
But even after that he’s just sitting up high and active and curious
My younger sister’s new-ish ball python. His name is Spaghetti and she (and my mom) did zero research before getting him. He only has two hides on the cool side and no climbing branches or anything (added a photo as a second thought)
He gets fed a very small mouse weekly currently (I’ve done all his feedings because once again, they did no research while I have a 4.5yr old girl who’s healthy as all can be)
I think this is his sixth week here but I could be wrong. His enclosure is a 4x2x2 though, that’s pretty much the only good thing here because the thermometers are too high up to read properly for his temperature
But pretty much, he has these small bumps/scabs on his general body and then (to me at least, I didn’t look too hard) it looks like he has a small buildup in his cloaca and stuff.
He’s a banana piebald, and I don’t \think\ he carries the spider gene but I don’t know anything about morphs. But I do know that he’s very delayed almost, horrible with eating (ate a mouse tail first, tried to eat a pinky while it was still alive (my mom feeds live even though I told her I don’t recommend it especially for him), is super jerky and wobbles a ton, misses his strikes, and probably more
My girl Nessi has never had any health issues except bad sheds when she was younger so I’m clueless when it comes to whether a BP needs a vet or not, or what I can do to help if something is wrong
I did wash my hands a lot after taking him out for these pictures since I don’t know what’s up
My younger sister, who is 10 (turning 11) so VERY young. I know this can happen to any age group pretty much, I’ve done it in the past but I was 14-15 I think. She is constantly online, my mom won’t do anything about it, won’t ground her, nothing. She has a phone, tablet, computer, and vr headset (this is the big one)
She doesn’t get out of bed, this isn’t specifically from any depression, instead because she’s on her headset 24/7 playing vrchat with god knows who.
She (let’s call her Y) is constantly having her friends (no idea how old) say they’re going to kill themselves. Some tell her days, some just do it. But she’s had at least eight people kill rhemselves, threaten to do it, or set a date and tell Y about it.
I don’t know if this is true cause it’s word of mouth obviously, but either way. If it is true it’s obviously putting way too much stress on her. The cuts were all over her right forearm and it’s a lot at once too. They’re shallow albeit, but knowing her she won’t clean them.
She denied it immediately and while my mom didn’t believe her at all, my mom still didn’t do anything about it. I need help convincing my mom to get Y help because I’ve been there and nobody helped me, I’m not having that repeat. I’m already stressed enough and have been thinking of relapse after being clean for 3-4 years. I haven’t and I have friends to help me now, but I need to get Y help.
Sorry for the ramble, this just happened and I don’t know what to do
My Rhino iguana here, he just came in so I’m letting him adjust
So I’ve been single since November 30th 2025. I’m trans ftm and haven’t been able to start my transition at all yet. So pretty much I’ve convinced myself I’m just gonna end up being alone because while I’m gay and like men, other people will just see me as a straight girl 🧍♂️
I’m gay, demiromantic, trans, and gray-ace so all that together just gives me zero hope I’ll find anybody who sees me how I see me if that makes sense. I guess since it’s pride month I immediately start feeling upset I’m alone and start thinking I’m not A. A real guy, and B. Not actually gay since I’m afab
So Nessi here is my first (and only currently) ball python. She’s give or take 5 and a half years old and just over 4 foot long.
This is her 4x2x2 enclosure and I just wanted to send pictures to help my anxiety of having her in a bad enclosure
I DO have a bigger water bowl for her coming/one she can fit in and I’m going to find more wood to clean and put in there. she has a tank fogger to keep the humidity up, she’s got hides on the cool and warm side, I have a snake plant and electronic thermometers I still need to put in there, there’s her rocks she likes to bask on, and so far she’s seemed perfectly active and hasn’t had any issues
But I just see so many bad enclosures so I’m a little paranoid 🥲 it’s still a work in progress so literally any comments you have work perfectly for me
PS. PLEASE before you comment on it, she does have clean water!!! My mom put dyed moss in there and I took it out but it dyed the actual bowl. I have since thoroughly hand washed it after these pictures were taken
