Disappointing Bundle

I saw this bundle being added last night, but I'm disappointed this morning when they added the discounted price. For $350 I cant think of a reason to get this over the 7500x3d bundle. Who would want 1 dimm of ddr4?It should have been $299.

Case Recommendations

I am a hobbyist PC building working on my first actual flip. I have the parts in the link. Can you please recommend a cost-effective case that sells well (ATX)? Do you think shopping for a 1TB SSD to add will pay off in selling price?

So close, yet so far.

I was really hoping to get this last part so I could finish building my PC this week. How many locations do you think it will hit before reaching its desitnation in Utica, MI?

What Steam Games are on your Odin?

I like to keep 12 games loaded in GameNative at a time. Here is my current list (Odin 2 Portal). What's on yours?

$200 FB Find

I'm happy excited that I found this Herman Miller Sayl on FB Marketplace for $200. It has the older style arm rest mechanism (lift all the way up to reset) and no forward tilt, but I love the gray-on-black look.

My first custom build - All Black ProArt Gaming/Creative PC

I just go into PC gaming this year, after not gaming on PC in a very long time. Safe to say I am fully sucked in. I've been using an entry-level rig that I upgraded with a RTX 5070 and a better GPU, but I am preparing to fully build my first PC.

This PC will be going under a desk in my office, so I did not want to build a rainbow lightshow fish tank. I decided to keep it simple - all black parts, no RGB. I saw the ProArt PA401 and knew that's what I wanted to build inside. This PC will be used heavily for gaming, but will be a mixed use PC for the family including some creative programs.

From shopping around and using a Microcenter bundle I was able to keep the entire build to $1,499 + tax (including thermal paste).

I would love to get your thoughts on it while I wait for the parts to arrive and prepare for the build. My plan is to stay on this CPU/Motherboard for 5 years, but potentially upgrade the GPU in about 3 years. I would also like to expand storage once it becomes more reasonable.

Upgrading from Ryzen 7 5700 on AM4 Platform

I am about to move my PC to new case and AIO, so I would like to upgrade my CPU (5700) at the same time. I believe the 16mb of l3 cache and PCIE 3.0 limit are having an impact on gaming performance. I would love to move to AM5, but I don't want to buy a new motherboard and DDR 5 RAM right now, so I am instead going to focus on getting the most out of AM4 for the next few years.

I have researched the best AM4 processors, and I am between the 5800xt ($200) and 5900xt ($260). I would love to find a 5700x3d or 5800x3d, but they have been ridiculously hard to find and expensive ($400+ used).

I primarily use the PC for gaming, but it is also our primary home computer so I could have other use cases for it in the future. I could see myself repurposing this PC into a SFF mixed-use build when I eventually move to next generation platform for gaming.

Wha would you do?

 CPU: Ryzen 7 5700

Motherboard: ASRock B550 mATX

RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200MHz

GPU: Geforce RTX 5070

Storage: 2x 1 TB Gen 4 NVME

Case(new): Montech King 15 Pro mATX

CPU Cooler: AIO (TBD)

ABS Prebuilt: Fans not spinning ... unless I blow on them.

I got an ABS prebuilt off eBay a couple weeks ago and its been working great. Recently two of the 3 case fans will light up, but will not start spinning unless I blow air at that with a compressed air gun. Once they get spinning, they control completely normally until the power goes to sleep or powers down. I can manually increase fan speed to 100% using MSI Afterburner and they speed up appropriately. There is no dust build up or other power concerns with the rest of the PC. RGB responds correctly (SignalRGB). I updated the motherboard bios to the newest version. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I bought a RTX 5070 to install in my ABS prebuilt pc. It looks like the 650 watt PSU only has one PCI-E cable with the double end. Is it safe to use the 12v adapter for this GPU, or is there something else I should do?
