Base help after swapping to deluxe (dull taste/different texture)

I recently swapped to the deluxe and have found that my usual base even when upscale properly and more so in sweetener, still is pretty dull.

Also, I used to run one ice cream spin, one mix in and it gave me the perfect consistency. Now, it’s not bad but definitely more icy even when following the fully same protocol. ( run under warm water for time I’ve found to be good, scraping sides down ) and that spin settings I listed.

I have both bases listed above, in the original I used 20g monkfruit and with the deluxe I tried 30 and now 40g, still having somewhat dull taste.

Highkey Oreo vs Oreo thin cream removed

What do you guys prefer?

You could do about 4 high key Oreos for 93~ calories or 5 cream removed for 95-97~ calories.

I personally love high key Oreos and mixing only one with a fiber one brownie but I may try the Oreo thin trick.

Enhancing sweetness of my base, more sweetener or add extract?

Recently got the deluxe and I’m reworking my recipe.

My current base is this:

1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Vanilla (~31 g)
550 mL unsweetened almond milk
7 g sugar-free Jell-O instant pudding mix
1 g xanthan gum
1 g salt
30g monk fruit sweetener.

I found this good but not as sweet as I’d like (this is just me personally).

So should I try bumping up to 35-40g monkfruit or adding a Tsp of vanilla extract?
Or a mix of the two?

Let me know your opinions, please n thanks 🙏

Underrated cereal mix ins in ninja creami?

What are your underrated cereal mix ins?
I’m curious how cookie crisps or the Kit Kat cereal would work if anyone’s tried.

Different jello mixes give different texture?

Has anybody experienced different zero sugar jello mixes flavors giving different textures? I find the chocolate/ chocolate fudge ones to never good a good texture for some reason. Vanilla and white chocolate are my go to but they also vary in the volume once blended.

Very weird and curious if anyone has noticed this.

Max milk you can put in deluxe?

In my normal 16oz, I use 400ml of milk and I know it’s 24 oz so that would mean 600? To be safe I tried 550 lol, if anyone knows let me know please.

Base changes for swapping to deluxe?

Here’s my current base for my classic ninja creami, how should I change now that I’m gonna be making deluxe pints? (Milk amount/sweetener mostly I’d assume)

Removing entirely or lowering protein powder in favor of adding 2% milk?

My current base for low calorie purpose is shown above, the texture works for me but can still be soft/ melty somewhat. Has anyone tried this swap and what was your outcome?

Also would you recommend completely removing the protein or matching my current base calories (basically add extract or a little protein powder I’m asking)

Cold stone Cotton candy Ninja Creami!

After trying to find a good match forever, I’ve found it! Cold stone has a distinct lovable cotton candy flavor and this is the closest thing!

Lorann blue cotton candy icf fountain flavor!

I personally used 10g/ 2 tsp worth of it with my vanilla base!

Feel free to leave suggestions for mix ins and ask any questions!

Has anyone tried granola or these magic spoon marshmallow protein bars as mix ins?

Anyone tried granola (doesn’t have to be these exact cheerio ones, just the ones I got) or these magic spoon bars as mix ins?

Anybody tried these as mix ins? (Separately)

Curious how granola works as mix in (one of my go to is just regular Cheerios so I have high hopes there).

And separately, these magic spoon bars.
I usually freeze a fiber one bar and use that with highkey Oreos, so I’m curious how this bar would work in place of that and whether I should or shouldn’t freeze it also.

Let me know, thanks!

Gummy bears and marshmallows as mix ins?

Recently made the most perfect cold stone cotton candy like base and my favorite mix ins were always Kit Kats and gummy bears, curious if anyone could give input on how they work.

As well as marshmallows because I’m nervous to try them too.

Lorann flavor fountain

I got a bunch of these and they’re great, however I’m wondering if using above 2 tsp is worth it (10g) or should I add more sweetener?

If you’re wondering the exacts, I’m wondering for the peanut butter and blue cotton candy flavor fountains

(2 tsp/10g was good but light for peanut butter and pretty decent for the cotton candy)

Also, I’m using 20g monkfruit for reference there as well.

Let me know, thanks!

How much sweetener do you guys use?

I use the lakanto monkfruit replacement and used 15g for a while, started using 20 and noticed a difference. But, I see people use lots, like 40-50g. Is it worth it, this is my base.

Making Superman ice cream

What would be the best way to do this? My normal base is vanilla ish and then I have Loranns blue moon flavor fountain. Would making a vanilla base, freezing it, adding cherry flavor/extract and blue moon fountain, maybe lemon too work?

Also, if I find out how to make this what mix ins or sauce/drizzle toppings do you guys thing would pair well? Same question for just blue moon!

Smoothies taste bland no matter what

I tried 30g monkfruit and vanilla extract (5g), and it still taste bland. I don’t want to add protein powder or anything calorie dense like that.

What should I try?
