What’s your round count. If it’s high what did you do to the echelon to make it keep going? Did you swap out any parts at 5k rounds?

I got my echelon at the end of April. I’m still a very beginner shooter as I only started taking pistol shooting semi seriously when I got my Echelon 4.0C. So far I’ve shot nearly 1.3k rounds. So on avg I’m shooting 100-200 rounds per week so 400-800 rounds per months. Adding that to 6 months to one ear I will be approaching 5k fairly quickly . So I want to see what are some of the high round counts this gun is seeing and what are some maintenance I need to look out for in the future. So far I just been cleaning. Didn’t really clean the feeding ramp until 1.2k rounds as it was jamming at a USPSA fun match.

My watchlist currently are (in no particular order)

1: nightwood guns (he’s lowkey ashill and partner with Bul Armory, but other than that he’s very entertaining and is also a pop culture nerd. He has good reviews)

2: Pew view (entertainment by his skills but other than that I wouldn’t really take his reviews etc seriously. Shilling at his best but also extremely entertaining)

3: shortshottony (very entertaining, honest review as it seems. Focus on more budget friendly stuff)

4: honest outlaw (I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch his video but if there’s a gun review in a gun I’m interested in I will click his video for it)

5: Gunbelievable (25k subscribers channel, very underrated. Better format and seems like it actually has good mic and production quality compared to forgotten weapons… from a single person! Good and simple formatting of the video. I can listen to him talk guns all day. I can’t watch forgotten weapons because I rather read on that gun than watch a video from FW. Ian’s monotone voice and shitty mic of the days puts me to sleep)

6: focus Tripp. (Entertaining when you don’t take half of the stuff he says seriously. The work he does for gun.deals is extremely respectable)

7: HOP (he just makes good content)

People I don’t like:
1: garand thumb…. His reviews and content are still alright but there’s a definite drop in quality and entertainment after all the drama

2: Regular Guy Training… simply insufferable and boring content

3: Civilian tactical. Good for YouTube shorts but overall cringe. Sure he’s a nice guy

4: Johnny Q. Same thing as CT

Every now and then I love to spend my pass time looking at some of the atrocities built by people under the PSA reviews. But very often I’d see people literally posting themself committing a felony or borderline ATF violations. I personally think the rules are bs and we should abolish them. But before that ever happens why would you post yourself with your AR pistol either having a VFG or something like a BCM gunfighter vertical grip. Sometimes it’s obvious they got that form 1 done but usually it’s obvious that they buyers are oblivious to the rules.

5 months unemployed. Recently graduated and moved from west coast to east coast. Submitted 200-300 applications. It’s not that I don’t believe I can’t find a job. It’s just I’ve lost motivation to even apply. I don’t have the drive to curate resume and read through hundreds of lines of job descriptions. I don’t know what to do. Anyone else share similar feelings? How did you guys get over this phase?

First major one is the Glock 45 should be exactly the same size as the Glock 19x yet it’s actually smaller. G45 in this game is the same size as the G19 irl. What they should’ve done is rename the G45 the G19 and put the G45 parts under the G19X parts.

Talking about the G45. The trigger is tiny on that gun.

Second: the bottom rail for the B&T APC9 is not functional at all for no reason.

Third: Noveske N4 can use 300blk. But when you use the exact same barrel, gas block and BCG in the M4…. Suddenly you can’t use .300blk

Fourth: all noveske parts comes in the upper and hand guard fitted together…. Why?

Five: no audio for switching firing mode on the MP9-N.

Six: the M17 wouldn’t fire when dropped.

So I attended my first match with my friend today(not his first time) I just gonna say it was quite nervous wrecking but also interesting to see. Ofc I take full blame for the DQ and it was quite unsafe on my part since I broke the 180.

The stage sets up like this. You are facing away from the first two targets. You need to first turn 180 degrees with your body and draw then shoot the two target. Then you need to turn 180 degree again and peak to your left(if you are facing down range) to engage the next set of targets. On my second 180 turn instead of turning my body down range I just instinctively turned my body in the unsafe direction since you will be running left at that point. I knew what happened a second before the RSO and immediately stopped. Sorry for everyone that I pointed my gun at as well.

I’m going to practice in my house more regarding turning foot work etc and I have an indoor match this Thursday so hopefully I don’t cock up again. Hopefully it’s a lesson learned

I have Brownell Slide, OEM frame, connector etc with PolyDAT trigger with the NP3 bar. The trigger breaks and resets crisp. But if I hold the trigger and rack the slide for reset the trigger wouldn’t go back to the rest position fully. It does go to the rest position fully though when I don’t hold my finger on the finger for the reset. How do I solve this?

Like I’m reading the articles. You get one mag…one back strap and a cheaper front sight. The slide cut is whatever probably will feel the same but everything else is the same? Are they going to push out more alpha than regular 4.0C now? Is the street price is gonna be even lower? I paid $599 before tax and shipping for my 4.0C with 5 mags. The puts the gun around $500 or below…. That’s already cheap? Are they going to steal some customers from the RxM market? Because if the echelon’s street price ends up being $490 bucks it’s hard to go for the RxM imho…. My dad might finally give up his Gen 3 g19 now.

No one. Absolutely no one talks about this gun. Everyone seems to love to talk about the p-10 which is not as good looking or the m&p 2.0 which is more expensive or the RXM which just isn’t as good…. This gun is as reliable as a Glock . FCU with solid build quality and it isn’t an Sig. Def one of the best Striker fired guns ever made in the $600 price range. With the gear pack the gun can be had for really reasonable prices compared to a gen 6 Glock which has a worse optic mount system and doesn’t have the modularity this has. Just hope the after market would pick up. But after looking at other carrying options. They just don’t fit the bill like the echelon. (Good price, reliable, modular, do it all).
