Just got my Osmo 360!

Been wanting this for a long time. Mainly got it for skiing videos since I usually go with friends and the 360 lens makes it super easy to get all of us in frame. Was really hyped for the native 8K 360 footage so finally pulled the trigger on dji 360.

Camera is way sleeker and more compact than I expected and it comes with a ton of accessories. Ended up grabbing an extra handheld extension pole too. Planning to take it on a bike ride, super hyped to see how the full 360 footage turns out.

Any other users out there? Any tips?

Quick QC check anything I’m missing?

Could use some fresh eyes on this piece before I make a decision. I’ve looked through the QC photos a few times, but I’m not confident I’m catching all the small details.

What would you check first, and is there anything here that you’d ask the seller to clarify?

What's one feature in Fastrr Checkout that genuinely improved your day-to-day store management?

I recently started using Fastrr Checkout for my ecommerce store and have been exploring the different features included in the platform. What stood out to me is that it offers more than just a checkout solution, with tools that can help improve customer experience and simplify store management.

For merchants already using Fastrr, I’d love to know your experience. Which feature or add-on has been the most valuable for your business so far? Was it checkout speed, customer identification, payment recovery, discounts, automation, or something else that helped you the most? Looking for practical insights from real users.

For those using Fastrr Checkout, what's the biggest benefit?

I recently came across Fastrr while exploring tools to improve our ecommerce store’s AOV and conversion rates. The platform looks interesting because of features like smarter checkout, automated customer journeys, COD optimization, and easier store management.

I’m still evaluating if it’s the right long-term solution for our brand. Would love to hear from ecommerce founders and sellers who have been using Fastrr Checkout. How has your experience been so far? Which features have actually helped you improve conversions, reduce RTOs, or manage customer journeys better?

I kept my 10 days in Thailand under 500, but the best 30 bucks was a cooking class

I did Bangkok and Chiang Mai, no islands this time. All prices below are in USD. Not including my flight into Thailand because that number is useless for comparison depending on where you fly from.

Total: about 485

Accommodation: 172

Mostly hostels and simple private rooms. Clean enough and in areas where I could walk to food.

Transport: 64

BTS/MRT in Bangkok, a few Grab rides when I was tired, train/bus between cities, songthaews in Chiang Mai.

Food /coffee / 7-Eleven: 132

Street food most days, a few cafés, one nicer meal that was still not really expensive.

Cash: 93

Night markets, temples, laundry, water, small snacks, one massage, random things where cash was easier.

Card: 144

Grab, cafes, some restaurants, convenience stores, esim, and a few things I forgot to pull cash for.

Best money spent: 30. Cooking class in Chiang Mai

I was trying to be pretty careful with money, so I almost skipped it. Very glad I didn’t. It was a half-day class with a market stop first, then we cooked a few dishes and ate everything after. I’d spent the whole trip buying cheap food, so actually understanding a bit of what goes into the dishes made the rest of Chiang Mai more fun.

If I had to cut the budget lower, I’d skip a few cafés before I’d skip that class.

Thailand can still be done pretty cheaply, but I don’t think it feels “cheap” if you move too fast or keep saying yes to every tour. Bangkok + Chiang Mai was a good budget combo for me.

Skincare for sensitive skin that actually survives the SG humidity?

My skin barrier is trashed and everything i buy from Sephora feels too heavy or makes me break out. A friend recommended the Artistry line from Amway because its plant-based and quite gentle. Does it actually work for oily/sensitive skin in our weather? i have heard artistry is one of their top brands but want to know if its worth the switch before I commit.

First time in Japan

First time heading to Japan and my main plan is hitting the Tenjin Festival fireworks in Osaka on July 25. Keeping most of the trip around Kansai, nothing overplanned. But I keep hearing it gets insanely crowded.
Main thing I am stuck on: how much eSIM data do I actually need. With that many people packed around the river and train stations, my gut says cell service might get sketchy. Would rather not be stranded without maps after the show ends.
Also, what is Osaka even like after fireworks wrap up. Never been, so I have no sense of whether it is a manageable chaos or a full meltdown at the stations. If you have been there during the festival I would love a reality check.

First-time laptop buyer: should I go with brand reputation or after-sales service?

I need a laptop mainly for work and I'm looking for something with decent value for money. There are so many options out there that I'm starting to get overwhelmed by all the recommendations, and I've narrowed it down to two: a laptop with an Lenovo Laptop, and one from Nimopc. The thing is, I only know about both of these through other people's recommendations, I have no firsthand experience with either. What actually tipped me toward Nimopc was their warranty: 90-day hardware return/exchange plus a 2-year warranty. That basically killed my "what if it breaks?" anxiety. That said, Lenovo seems like the more established brand, so I'm having a hard time deciding.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, I don't know play it safe and go with the bigger brand for peace of mind, or give the smaller brand a chance if they're willing to stand behind the quality of their products? So if anyone has experience with either of these brands, I'd really appreciate any advice or firsthand feedback.

experience with overseas vendor

Has anyone here ordered from an overseas lab diamond jeweler before?

I’ve been browsing a few vendors outside my country because the pricing seems significantly better, especially for larger stones and custom settings. The photos and reviews look great, but I’m still a little nervous about placing a high-value order with someone I’ve never met in person. Would love to hear both positive and negative experiences.

Got to buy a minipc

When I was a kid, I genuinely thought a pc was just the monitor, mouse, and keyboard. I had no idea there was this huge ugly tower hiding under the desk the whole time.
Now I’m honestly getting really tired of giant setups taking up half my desk space. Recently I saw someone mount a minipc directly behind the monitor, and it kinda blew my mind.
Hiding a minipc behind the screen honestly feels like the closest thing to my childhood idea of a computer. Zero desk space, just a display with a mouse and keyboard.
I think I’m actually gonna pick up the geekom a9max from the video lol.

I received a bonus for "outstanding performance." A colleague told my boss it was all generated by AI. Now I'm being questioned?

I work in product sourcing at a small e-commerce company. Over the past few months, I've built a workflow that eliminates most repetitive steps. Using Acciowork for supplier research, ChatGPT for drafts and emails, and other tools to reduce back-and-forth communication and optimize my workflow, my productivity has almost tripled. My boss noticed and called me one of the most efficient people on the team, awarding me a bonus last quarter.
However, last week, a colleague happened to see my screen and asked how I did it so quickly. I demonstrated it to her, genuinely feeling it was an opportunity to share my knowledge. She went to my boss and said my productivity was generated by AI and didn't accurately reflect my abilities, and that comparing my productivity to other team members was unfair. My boss then pulled me aside. He wasn't angry, but he was uneasy. He said he "wanted to know how much of that was my own idea."
Here's the thing: it took me several weeks to get this workflow up and running. I know how to vet suppliers, how to judge whether a quote is suspicious, and how to object to a price. AI handles the execution, I provide guidance. But now I honestly can't tell if I'm just defending myself or if my perspective is valid. Do I deserve that bonus? Do I even need to reply to my colleagues?

Am I the last person to find out that our entire supply chain is basically a public record?

I was doing some competitive research with AI tools today and it pulled up an actual import-export database. acciowork gave me a full breakdown: product specs, exact quantities, dates, and even the buyer and supplier names for our main competitors.
I am stunned tbh... How is this allowed? It feels like anyone can just spy on our entire strategy with zero effort. Am I missing something here? Is there a way to hide these records or are we just permanently exposed to everyone with an internet connection?

Jackery 3600 plus review

After about a month of heavy use of this large solar generator, I wanted to share my experience and thoughts.

The top panel has two large handles, and there are multiple ways to move it around, including large wheels and a retractable handle. Aside from occasional camping or other outdoor activities, I primarily use it as a spare battery for home use.

It has a total of 9 output ports, including 5 AC outlets, 2 USB-C ports, and 2 USB-A ports. This multi-port design allows for simultaneous use of appliances such as microwave ovens and electric kettles. It also uses a NEMA L5-30R connector and supports 100V 50Hz/60Hz 3000W output. Even when using high-power appliances on a regular 100V outlet, such as an inverter microwave, I haven’t had any issues.Furthermore, the battery capacity ranges from 3.58kWh to 21.48kWh, a 25% increase compared to Ecoflow's 4kWh to 12kWh.

It also features pass-through charging. When it’s connected to a 100V AC power source, it draws power directly without using the battery. Once a power outage occurs, it automatically switches to the internal battery, which makes it very safe and reliable. There was one time I was out of the house during a blackout, but my surveillance system continued running normally. For easier charging, I’ve also connected it to two 200W solar panels on my balcony. At this point, I’m using it for much more than emergencies. At this point, I’m using it for much more than emergencies. During sunny days, the panels help recharge the battery while powering part of the apartment at the same time, which makes the whole setup feel surprisingly practical for both emergency preparedness and reducing everyday electricity use.

Now I’m trying to connect most of the appliances in my living room to this portable power station. During the day, the solar panels generate electricity, and at night I use the stored energy. Maybe my electricity bill will become a little easier to manage. Also, it's almost silent and won't disturb my sleep.

If someone asks me if I would buy another one, my answer is definitely yes. It works perfectly in almost every situation now. Curious if anyone else here is also using a portable power station as part of their everyday home setup. What creature comforts will having a solar generator unlock for you?
