I honestly feel so stupid and shaken right now.

Last night I was out with my girlfriends. A drunk Punjabi guy came up to me asking for a lighter, so I gave him one. Then, completely out of nowhere, he asked for my number. I was drunk as f#ck too, and without really thinking, I ended up giving it to him.

About an hour later, he started bombarding me with calls and messages, asking me to h#ok up with him. I never showed any interest or gave him any reason to think I wanted that. He just assumed he could keep calling and messaging me.

I'm honestly scared and disgusted. I blocked him, but set a trap along with my friend nd know where he works, and the whole situation has left me feeling unsafe.

My friend and I were so angry that we even talked about confronting him at his workplace, but we didn't because we don't want to make things worse.

I have screenshots of his calls and messages. Is there any legal action I can take in India if someone behaves like this? Has anyone dealt with something similar? I'd really appreciate any advice on how to handle this safely.

The number of random guys jumping into my DMs asking me out, acting possessive after one conversation, or giving me lectures like "don't get laid" is honestly creepy.

We don't know each other. You're not my dad, therapist, or life coach. I didn't ask for permission to date, sleep with someone, or live my life.

If your first instinct after seeing a girl's post is to DM her with unsolicited advice, moral policing, or "I'm just concerned," you're not being caring you're being weird.

Maybe stop treating every woman on Reddit like she's waiting for your approval. It's exhausting.
