Greedy corporate

For the last few months our district ap has been saying our store is “too food motivated” for safety and that we should have crazy hat and shirt days, mismatched sock days etc. conveniently none of their alternate suggestions cost the store any money. No I’m not depending on the food days to eat but it’s nice to be able to skip paying for a meal every now and then. I guess I’ll have to eat my crazy shoes.

Springfield echelon holsters?

Hi I recently bought a Springfield echelon 4.0c comp and I’ve attached a tilt-1 hl-x light to it but I can’t find a holster. Tenicor is my go to brand but they seem focused on Glock holsters and I can’t buy a trex because of what they did to Lucas. Recommendations?

Holster for M&P compact with light?

Hi, I recently bought a M&P 2.0 compact and I’ve attached a Tlr-1 hl-x light to it but my go to holster brand tenicor doesn’t make a holster for this combo, they seem to focus on Glock stuff but anyway I can’t buy a tenicor and I have a Trex arms for a different gun but I don’t want to buy trex because of what they did to Lucas. What do you guys recommend?

Possibly a stupid question

Has anyone tried dropping a gen 5 oem performance trigger in a gen 6? I currently have a minus connector in my gen 6 but wanted something better.

How do I get back to my department?

I work in Tool rental but recently I’ve been covering receiving and by covering I mean basically transferring unofficially 30+ hr 5 day weeks of receiving. I have a couple problems with this.

  1. I can’t stand the opening receiver, I swear she has blackmail material on a manager or something because management bends over backwards to her every whim, between leaving early every day to constant vacations to not even helping with receiving trucks.
  2. Receiving is supposed to get a dollar raise above normal department positions like TR and I haven’t gotten it.
Is there any way I can get back to my department?

I know it’s a cliche and a dead horse but I’m going to say it anyway, more efficiency=more work

I work retail, today I got finished setting up night crew for their stock truck, setting pallets and what not for them to stock at night. Today(and most days to be fair) I got done about 45 min early and was resting (I had only taken 1 break for an 8 hr shift) and here comes my lazy asf manager walking in. She says “oh good job, you’re done early, I guess you’ll have to fill night crew’s pallets for them”
Suddenly I got really sick and had to run over to the bathroom for my last 45 minutes. End of story I guess

Fun fact, gen 3 and gen 6 recoil springs have the same part number.

Left is from my gen 3 and the right is from my gen 6. 5593.
I’d assume they are interchangeable as well but haven’t tried yet

Safe queen or carry piece?

Hello, I have a few of the rarer if you want to call it that Glock models that I’ve been collecting for a little while.
I have a Glock 19M gen 5, Glock 17M pre gen 5, Glock 19 gen 4 summer special (front serrations from factory) and a few others that are uncommon but those are the highlights I suppose. I was wondering if there’s tea any point to keeping them in a safe if they’ll never gain much actual value so I was wondering what your opinion is. The weird part is I don’t even really plan on selling them, the 19M and 17M were my first glocks and I have a great sentimental attachment to them because of that.
Should they be safe queens or carry pieces?

Sick of lying management

I suppose I’m what they call a universal associate at my store, I can work in every department except being a specialist. Well recently our Tool rental had a spot open that I was covering for anyway so I applied and got accepted after an interview. Fast forward 1 week later and our receiving department is having issues, someone left and blah blah. I’ve been covering for 2 weeks already and I asked my OPs asm point blank today if I was being moved to receiving permanently because it’s all I have on my schedule and he said “oh no you’re only helping out and covering” and literally 2 hours later another full week of receiving both open and close gets posted. Receiving is the only department that I think I’m bad at and completely dislike, so much so I was told I wasn’t learning fast enough by the same asm way back when I was actually in receiving and got kicked out. Now I’m unofficially back in receiving and the position I’m supposed to be in and I’m not the the dollar raise that receiving gets at my store. Either I wasn’t as bad as they say I was or they are desperate idk.

Favorite Glock generation and why?

Hi,I own gen 3 thru 6 Glocks and love them all but I do favor the gen 4 and 5 models for their dual recoil springs and just general feel. I also adore the classic look of the gen 3-4 glocks. I was wondering what are this community’s favorite gens and why?

Sig p320 theory I recently heard from a LGS

Recently went into a LGS to look around and maybe buy and got into a conversation with an employee there, eventually the conversation turned to the p320 going off by itself and he said that he believes that the FCU being installed wrong is the culprit behind most of the uncommanded discharges, he claimed that he also owned multiple p320s and others at the store who also owned P320s couldn’t replicate it so that was the foundation I suppose for their theory. I’m not 100% sure of his claim but I also wasn’t interested in buying one and didn’t express any interest in buying one so I don’t think he was trying to sell me on one of them so that’s one reason for him to not be bsing me. Just wanted to post this and see what you guys think. I don’t own a p320 and don’t plan on buying one because of the issues because even if the claim is true if I put a Glock,echelon,m&p,vp9,,hellcat or beretta together wrong it won’t shoot buy itself so I’m not defending sig, I just want to add to the discussion. Thanks.

Looking for a good group that plays to win.

Hi, I have about 400 hrs in hunt and jump between 5 and 6 star Mmr, I’m looking for a group that plays a lot and plays to win, I like to have fun but so for some reason people think doing dumb things and losing is fun and that’s just not my definition of fun.

Vp9a1k

Picked up today used for 700 with mags, backstraps, side panels and grip tape. I added the ammo and light afterwards. It doesn’t even have a Glock smile on the barrel.
