Oceano Dunes
Finally got a chance to try the new tires and rims at Oceano Beach near Pismo. I aired down the tires, but still kept to the packed/damp sand vs the loose sand in the dunes. Didn’t want to risk getting bogged down and a pricey tow. Handled great for beach cruising!
Boomers didn't prepare for retirement. Their millennial kids are paying the price.
Curious if anyone here is in this situation. My dad already passed and overspent a bit, but there was enough leftover on his house’s equity after sale to pay off his debts. My mom said she likely won’t have enough to leave me anything - I told her I don’t care about that and would prefer she has enough to live comfortably for her remaining years. She should, but cuts to social security could impact that.

2022 P2 PPP - Scheduled Service
I'm coming up on my 2nd service for the Polestar in June (booked in January). Given it takes 5-6 months from booking to the service appointment, I'm wondering if there's anything I should have them inspect while they have the car.
Not currently experiencing any issues, but wondering if there are any known issues I should have examined (like upper strut mounts, which I see mentioned occasionally). The car is sitting at just under 27K miles.
Thank you!
Shady hikes w/ dog
Hello, east bayers - looking for your favorite hikes to take your four-legged friends on that are friendlier for summer months (ie, mostly covered/shaded). On leash is fine, just want to find something where I can still get 3-10 miles in with the pooch if I miss that local early morning window.
Ideally, somewhere that’s also runnable. A mix of hiking and running is cool.
In Concord, but anywhere within a ~20-30 min drive would be great. Thanks!
This is beyond insane to me. Gentleman in the U Haul thought it would be smart to take it through a parking garage. He’s causing a whole traffic jam in the garage because he can’t get out. Scraped the whole top of the U Haul van too. People are so out of their minds here it’s insane.
