(Mixed to hated trope) adaption changes a character dramatically from the source material.

This trope is a pretty mix bag as there are quite a few examples of this trope where it works for the better but plenty where it falls flat.

  1. (Hated) Taskmaster - Marvel

If you’ve never read a comic where taskmaster appears and only interacted with his adaptions you’d believe he was some super serious merc, but in the comics he’s a goofball, the dude constantly quips and makes jokes and even became someone’s coach for a golf event, he’s basically Deadpool minus the fourth wall awareness.

  1. (Mixed) Mr wolf - bad guys

Mr wolf is the leader of group of ex criminals who are trying to turn a new leaf, in the movie Mr wolf is a charming thief similar to someone like Lupin or Sly Cooper, in the book series Mr wolf was supposed to be the big bad wolf from different fairy tales and alongside this he was a very clumsy guy who meant good but often caused more harm than intended.

I sort of give a pass to this because the movie series is so dramatically different from the books already and Mr wolf was at least enjoyable.

  1. (Hated) Deadpool - X-men origins

Probably the most infamous example of a bad character adaption, they took away his mouth, the merc with a mouth the character known for yapping a lot doesn’t talk at all after becoming Deadpool and doesn’t even do anything funny!

So the premier for the Krasura review just ended and It was given a 78 way higher than I expected but after listening to his points I completely understand it, a lot of stuff the points made sense to me, what about you guys?

After 11 years Guts finally has new feats

I’m not kidding from his first episode in 2015 to his second in 2023 guts had the same feats and even the chapters after Guts vs Dimitri didn’t give guts anything he could scale to, it took until literally yesterday for guts to get feats that weren’t already a thing in guts vs nightmare.
