I work at Home Depot and someone really tried to return this IKEA plant by just putting it inside a PW planter. SMH. I got a take it home but I have no idea what type of philo it is.
Had one randomly pop up at work and I love it.
It has just been firing off new leaves. The new one isn’t even completely hardened before a new one starts but holy cow they’re getting MASSIVE. I love it.
The next leaf is already emerging.
I posted the Burle Marx Flame I got last week and a new growth started emerging two days ago. Today, it’s completely out. Mannnnn, I can’t wait to see what it looks like and how many fanestrations. Eeeeek.
I have a few alocasia corms and a few nodes that need propagating. Which should I use?

This has been #1 on my wishlist for YEARS. I finally got one today and I cried.
So a little bit of backstory. When we first rescued our husky 4 years ago for the first week he was constantly humping my daughter and jumping on her. He quit after that first week and never did it again.
Now for the current situation. The last few days he has been all over my daughter (10.5F). Licking her face (he is by no means a licker/kisser, very rarely and it’s like one quick lick) jumping on her, grabbing her like he wants to hump her (we stop him before he actually does it), and just plain won’t leave her alone. She has not started menstruating yet. I’m not sure if maybe this is a sign that she will be soon or what it could possibly be. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any advice on how to stop this behavior or why he may be doing this?

I’ve had this plant for over a year and it was in my living room. It just wouldn’t give me a new leaf and didn’t for at least a year. There were two plants in the pot so when I moved it outside, I got it into a nice chunky soil mix (cue dance 💃🏻) and separated the two plants. The first leaf it put out was pretty small but holy cow look how big the newest leaf is! I’m in love! Plus it’s pushing out ANOTHER leaf. (The picture does not do it justice).
It has also switching growing patterns! 🧡 🪴

I’ve wanted a Thai con for years and I found one at target about a month ago. The newest leaf had fenestrations when it opened (was closed when I got it). It just started putting out a new leaf. It definitely has fenestrations but I’m praying it has some green!

Is this enough roots to be potted up or should I wait for secondary roots? It’s was a long runner on my new plant I bought so it already had these roots, I did not propagate this.
I’m pretty new to ferns, most of my plants are aroids. I used a mixture of 1/3 soil, 1/3 perlite, 1/3 orchid bark, and a light layer of charcoal. What is the best mix for me to use with my new ferns?
