Just finished my 1st playthrough (9/10)

Reduced a point because of a lot of technical issues on ps5 pro, i had in this game alone more crashes than i had since the ps5 pro came out and bought it, the late game was terrible with freezes and crashes, the game even crashed just as i beat brancis and i had to do the fight again.

imo, the ps5 version should have had some more time in development before release.

But, i also disnt have frame drops or stutters and the game did look good aside from the crashes.

Anyway, the story was really good, i havent had so much fun with a story for quite some time.

The combat, which is a matter of taste, was very much to my liking (even with the lock on and camera problems).

The art direction and atmosphere were phenomenal, really loved it.

The game should definitly be nominated in some categories of goty, though its a tough fight this year for goty.

If they can fix the technical problems, personally i would give this game a 10/10.

Devs! Lock chests on trios! Please

So there are those locked chests that when you kill the enemies are unlocking and you get 1 chest per player.

A lot of the times if i queue to random trios and the otjer 2 are friends, and i kill the enemy that is far from the chests,

They fcking loot my chest while laughing on the open mic.

So please devs make this change: on those chests, once a player open a chest, he cant open another one from those 3 chests.

I dont know how, but please find a way, because it ruins random queueing.

My short review

The good -

Combat system super fun, you can chain some skills, and do fun air combos. The parry is so satisfying, that sometimes you just want to parry without hitting.

Sound design is very good, both the combat sound design (which is very important in games imo), and the music itself.

Mob enemy and level design are on par with other action games imo, i thonk that enemy placement on the enviorment was good.

The mid -

Story got a lot of potential but the way it was delivered was not so good, some cut scenes were too long with no importance for the story or character development, and overall pacing of the story and cutscenes need a workaround imo, along with adding skip button.

Graphics, overall the game looks good but aome areas looked really bad on PS5 Pro, and needs some work and fixing.

The bad -

Bosses, bosses and more bosses, well there were very few bosses and you just fight the same bosses over and over again, i understand that it could be part of the story and lore, but its not a good choice for an action game.

Apart from that all bosses had almost the same base attacks: head swipe, ground stomp and ranged tail attack along side with minor changes, and again thats not good at all for an action game.

Overall i had fun with the game.

Are you fcking kidding me? (Last boss fight)

If you lose to the last boss you get 2 options : return to camp or restart fight.

If you choose to return to camo to change the build you get the friggin 20min long cut scene again!!!

(Taurus fight) I usually dont like bosses that keep running away, but i kind of liked this boss

Even though he keeps running far, i kind of liked his move set and design.

Old people, what are we going to play on september? (my wishlist is so packed)

Aside from Mortal shell 2 that will probably leak from august to the start of september,

I have on my list:

Wolverine, Crimson Moon, Onimusha, Blood of a Dawnwalker, Control resonant, Silent hill townfall, new Fire Emblem, and Orbitals.

What are you all going to play on september?

Having a lot of fun

Cleared the entire first zone, did a lot of exploration (you can even catch fishes in the water at certain locations).

The game is a lot of fun in my opinion, i really do think the critics are too harsh with it, and a lot of people jumped on this hate wagon as usuall in the gaming community the last few years.

Hello, new to Splatoon, i have a question :)

What does "charge in" means? Is it a different attack within this ability? Can i charge this ability?

What is the difference between "charge in" and "slash" ?

Thank you all

Only 2 more days for Splatoon Raiders

I only have a switch around 6 months, so ive never played a Splatoon game before, but as soon as i saw the first trailer video i knew i want to play this game.

Also ive been eyeing Orbitals which comes at september (i need to get nintendo friends, non of my existing friends have nintendo).

48yo, and still hyped about new games lol

I haven't played Sekiro for more than a year, missed it so much

Just jumped back in today for aome inner genichiro, and maaaan, no game can give me such a friggin adrenaline rush like this game, such a masterpiece

What a hidden gem came out this week, Denshattack!

The game really challanges those fast reflexes, and reminds me a bit the games i used to play as a kid (48yo rn).

And the music is really good.

Im having so much fun with Dave the Diver

I recently bought a switch , and it brought me to play games i would have never thought i'd play on my stationary console.

Apart from how great it is to play in bed before sleep, this specific game is such a cozy one.

I can easly loose hours on just diving and exploring without even doing the quests, the vibe and the sound design are so relaxing.

And a bottle of rum...

Juat what i meeded right now, between RE9 requiem and monster hunter stories 3, and while waiting for Beast of reincarnation and other games that are coming soon (onimisha, wolverine, mortal shell 2 and so on).

Needed a pirate game to sail the endless seas, and boy how much i enjoy it, and the looks of it.

Really looking forward for this on the pro

I was never an assassins creed player, the only game from this frenchize that i have played was Shadows and it looked so good on the pro!

I wanted to play a pirate game (there are hardly pirate games right?) for quite some time, so im really happy we get this remake.

(I do wish the PC exlusive Windrose pirate survival would come to PS5 too).

I friggin did it! Not a beautiful fight like the pro's, but non the less

Sat on him 2 and a half days with the friggin carian retaliation parry and a dagger and light pants because at 48yo i had an age crisis lol.

The andrenaline rush now is insane.
