First time is ok , but second time no

I know whatever I say against Qazi is gonna get downvoted 😂 but I have to say this

When Kanika brought up the lollipop issue the first time, she explained why it was an issue, and at that point I was like, okay, maybe it was a mistake on his part. Maybe he genuinely didn’t know what it meant, or maybe he was being truthful about it.

But this time, he knew exactly what it meant. And the fact that he literally said it to Kanika herself, knowing the context, makes it so much worse. Like bro, that’s just not cool.

Is the American high school experience actually as good as it looks in movies and TV?

Growing up in India, I’ve always been fascinated by the way American high schools are portrayed in movies and TV shows. Honestly, it looked like a dream to me going to school in normal clothes instead of uniforms, huge hallways with lockers, gyms, swimming pools, cafeteria lunches, having 20-ish students in a class, school sports, house parties, prom, etc.

It’s something I always wished I could experience.

But now I wonder if this is just a case of “akkara pacha” a Malayalam saying about how the grass always seems greener on the other side.

For those who actually went to high school in the US, how much of that movie/TV experience is actually real? What was your high school life really like?
