I just finished it and had to look up the whole ‘I used you” thing at the end and most in this this sub had theories about why had lied to Toronaga, that he had had other goals the entire time etc. None of that is in the book, so the writers just added it? Why? The end of the book shows that toronaga had been preparing to be shogun his entire life? Like the whole thing with Blackborne and the other motives just seems to change the book.

I’m sure there have been tons if post like this, the differences in book v show but this one seems to change the entire thing? In the book he basically transforms himself from who he was. Not that he was some pirate with other movies the entire time he’s been there

Not so much Darwin but the actual aspects of it, like why we developed X and how etc. Or a description of the..lineage (is the best word I can think of) as in what caused this one thing to go on which then caused X. Like x animal has x experience which then trackers to their off spring etc?

Where I work is partially funded by the state, so I assume that’s where this information came from. Today my boss called me and said they got a notification. I have been arrested on the 18th involving a deadly weapon. I’ve never been arrested, and I was at work that day, and then with a coworker the rest of the day. My boss is calling HR regarding this, I know it wouldn’t be libel or whatever but how does this work? Is this acceptable?
