I usually get upvotes in general whenever when it’s a specific fan based IP but never is there any opportunity to advertise your services there.

I don’t do anime style or furry art for example.

I’ve done personal work on fan art IPs like superhero, horror related art, and paleo art aka dinosaur acrylic paintings. I do both digital and traditional art. I mainly try to push digital art services since I would have to charge a lot for high quality art supplies like Golden brand acrylics.

If anyone can suggest where to get hired by clients on Reddit, as well as the art they normally do with regard to subject matter to getting hired, I would greatly appreciate it.

I get very angry at myself for not opening up in my twenties. When I start to transition at 46 years old, I know I’m not going to get the same effects a 20 year old is.

I get midlife crisis anxiety trying to do as many feminine things as possible like photoshoots or being a drag queen with energetic dance moves. I want to do what I can for my bucket list before I’m too old and weak to do anything.

Beauty standards are pushed heavily on feminine or feminine adjacent ppl. One problem I fear about starting transitioning now is that I worry I will be tolerated rather than accepted as a friend. I have acquaintances but not best friends or a partner. I fear ppl will distance me solely on my age.

It also scares that desperate or creepy men I don’t know will harass me in one way or another. I’m into women but TERFs tend to spread myths of trans women terrorizing bathrooms and sports.

It doesn’t help that I don’t have financial support, nepotism, or a high paying job to keep me in an inner circle with someone.

I hate being recommended by algorithms on YouTube and Instagram showing timelapse videos of 20 year old trans women who get to be labeled as passable. It hurts me psychologically- I wish I were like them.

Does anyone else who is MTF go through similar difficulties like me?

How do you deal with loneliness, when you don’t have ppl or resources to guide you.

I’m not expecting answers. I just need someone to talk to about this topic.

I’m a trans feminine person who is currently on the fence with taking HRT. I’m in my mid forties and there is no way I can reach goals that younger trans women can with appearance and I can’t afford electrolysis or facial feminization surgery. I don’t put any physical expectations on my body. I won’t even do breast or bottom surgery for myself.

I like to do art both digitally and traditionally (acrylic paints, ink, markers) in horror and dark fantasy/scifi themes.

I love drawing monsters, creature designs, and paleoart (dinosaurs and anything prehistoric).

I do social transitioning like wigs, makeup, and prosthetics to look feminine and I still want to make gore and or dark themes in my art. I even do goth or dark theme looks when I perform as a drag queen as a hobby.

I don’t want my trans identity to compromise my subject matter interests in my art.

I still like doing fan art for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or drawing sexy women characters.

I’m trying to make the bold effort to appear feminine in comic conventions and art fairs. I feel I’ll get hate or the cold shoulder no matter what I do. I don’t feel like drawing Pride related art or flag coloured designs- it’s fine if anyone wants to draw that, it’s just not me.

I can show ppl samples of my art if you want in private messages to anyone who is interested. I worry if I showed my website it would be considered self promotion-and would remove this post.

I may have to hide my identity again due to fascism in the world (currently living in Alberta, Canada that’s going the way of fascism). Hiding my femininity will be hard too.
