EVdex update: Guest login is here + we launched our website

Hey everyone, quick update on EVdex (the EV discovery/comparison app for India) since a few of you tried it out earlier:

  • Guest login added — you can now browse listings, comparisons, and the news feed without creating an account. Sign up only when you want to save favourites or book a test drive.
  • Website is liveevdex.in, if you'd rather check it out on desktop.
  • News section added — a dedicated feed inside the app for EV-related news, so you don't have to leave to keep up with what's happening in the space.

App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycompany.evdex

Would genuinely appreciate any feedback, especially from folks who tried it before guest login existed and dropped off at the signup wall.

Built an app to compare EVs in India side-by-side (Tata, MG, Hyundai, Mahindra etc.)

Hey everyone,

I've been frustrated every time I try to compare EVs in India — there's no single place to see specs, range, and price across brands without opening 10 tabs and cross-referencing spec sheets manually.

So I built EVdex — an app that lets you compare Indian EVs (Tata Nexon EV, MG Windsor, Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, etc.) side by side: range, price, charging time, dimensions, all in one view. There's also a favourites list and a test drive booking flow built in.

It's live on the Play Store now (link in comments) — still early days, so genuinely looking for feedback from people who know cars better than I do. What's missing? What would actually make this useful when you're researching EVs?

Not selling anything — it's free, Just trying to make EV research less painful.

Built an app for EV buyers in India called EVdex would love feedback from this community

Hey r/EVIndia! I've been building an app called EVdex — it's designed specifically for Indian EV buyers who want to discover, compare, and shortlist electric vehicles before making a decision.

The main focus was a clean, smooth UI experience. Right now it has 60 EVs listed with specs and comparisons, and I'm adding more regularly.

It's available on the Google Play Store — would genuinely love honest feedback from car enthusiasts here. Drop your thoughts in the comments or DM me!
