I randomly saw my scrobbles stop registering when I was halfway through Slint’s “Spiderland” two days ago. Nothing has scrobbled since, despite listening to pretty much nonstop music since then.

I’m on Qobuz - I disconnected and reconnected my account to no avail. Not really sure what to do since that’s the only method I know for this issue.

It’s my girlfriend’s birthday soon and she asked me specifically to take her to a classic diner place with amazing milkshakes. I don’t know of any like that since I haven’t been living here for that long, and all the ones I do know are really far away.

This is very vague but I was overcome with a random memory of listening to what I remember was an interesting artist in the car outside my work some time late last year. It’s bugging me that I can hardly remember more than the title.

Basically as mentioned above, the cover art looked like some sort of medieval style painting of a village, possibly a snowy one?

As for genre, I feel like it would’ve been either somewhere in the folk world or the (probably ambient) electronic world.

Also, I have a hunch that the music might have been from 20-30ish years ago, maybe late 90s-early 2000s? Although that could be incorrect.

That’s all I can remember. I’ve looked through my Last.fm stats but so far nothing has popped up that fits the bill. Also it may not have tracked the artist anyway since I periodically have issues with Last.fm stopping working for extended periods of time.

Edit: to give an idea of the type of art that I’m talking about, check out the EP “Concrete Altar” by hardcore punk band Urban Sprawl. Not saying it definitely looks like that but my gut is telling me that the art style from the mysterious album I’m looking for is at least mildly similar.

Edit 2: it’s not a guarantee that it was a snowy village on the cover, as I might be mixing up memories - it may have been snowing on the day I listened to the album but not snowing in the image.

I do crypto on Kraken, can I receive PEP tips on that? Or otherwise how do I get a PEP address so I can accept a tip on here?

Been looking for some out there spooky stuff lately. I haven’t found too many YouTube videos that hit the spot so I figured I’d try podcasts.

Basically are there any well made podcasts deep diving on things like the Roswell incident, or the Barney and Betty Hill abduction, etc?

I know some true crime podcasts might veer into this sorta territory on occasion, and Astonishing Legends does a pretty good job of scratching this itch too but is there anything else?

Edit: I’d consider myself a skeptic but willing to consider the possibility that things like this actually happened. So please don’t recommend me stuff making claims like “aliens built the pyramids” or “the Richat Structure was an ancient alien rocket ship launchpad” because I think that’s ridiculous.
