I bought this cedar top acoustic from a pawn shop and it plays great, but I noticed there’s a lot of glue right where it meets the fretboard. Is this just some excess glue work or was it a badly done repair? There doesn’t seem to be a worrying gap when I slide my fingernail against the side of the fretboard. Aesthetically it just looks pretty bad! Best way to remove it?

Found this in a pawn shop and it plays great! After doing some digging I’ve found out that it’s an all solid model: cedar over rosewood. I’m under no illusion about this brand; I know they don’t make high end guitars, but this one appears to be well made and it has a great tone for fingerstyle with the solid cedar top. Definitely a keeper!

Despite missing some heavy hitters, my horror collection is coming along nicely!

Is BB7 worth rewatching past Grace’s eviction?

I’m rewatching BB7 for the first time in years. I’ve just reached Grace’s eviction. After that, I can’t really remember anything memorable happening in the series (other than Pete winning of course). Is it worth pushing on and watching the rest of it? It’s the joint second longest series in history right? The fact that it’s generally regarded as the best series is why I’m determined to watch it all. But if it’s not worth it, I might just give up and watch BB5 or BB6 instead!

Seen this Shine strat on Marketplace. I’ve asked the seller if it’s made in China or Korea and they couldn’t tell me. From the pics alone, might someone be able to tell where it was made?

What’s the verdict on Westfield guitars? I’m more an acoustic fingerstyle player, but would like an electric to play just for home use. Worth going to try this one out?

Just picked up this Kimbara 206/A electro acoustic from a pawn shop. Made in the ‘90s I think? It sounds great for a budget all laminate!
