For those on allo, do you still feel the gout joints tingle every once in a while?

I feel like Im being teased sometimes as a threat. I take allo 300mg daily for the last 2 years and never had a gout flare since (fingers crossed) but sometimes my gout affected joint(big toe) likes to twinge sometimes to remind me that it's still there and waiting to give me a week-long gout flare.

Just curious if this is normal or should I up my dose again?

I'm new to hockey and the NHL in general but I wanted to learn the sport through this game and I need advice

I am mostly a fan of the NFL, NBA, and MLB in that order. Im also slowly learning more about soccer but I also wanted to get into hockey. I learned sports through video games because I never got to play a lot of sports in real life due to my illness. Is this a good way to learn hockey?

How would you describe each team and what are they good at? Or is it like the NBA where almost all teams play the same way/similarly.

Im sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but answers are appreciated

How do you manage elevated expectations in your first year in your new role/promotion?

I've been in Financial Services and Wealth Management for a couple years now. I spent 5 years in my last humble book of business and I killed it. For some reason I got shot out of a cannon with the amount of success I've had. I was closing business left and right, clients loved me, and I developed a positive reputation as being competent.

January of this year I got a promotion of sorts. I got into a higher level with a different book that had lots of turnover the last couple years or so and the clients so far have not been happy but I have been repairing relationships ever since. This is in a new city altogether where the clientele are different and the types of wealth within the book varies(old money mostly) compared to my old city where it's mostly newer millionaires.

My challenge so far is that I'm not dealing with success so far in growing the book by consolidating/acquiring business compared to my previous years where I've been meeting my targets on an objective scale(scorecards measured against peers on each level) and it has been eating me up. It's growing pains I know but the burden of past success is the expectations are higher like a highly rated prospect in hs and college expected to transition seamlessly to the higher pro leagues.

How do you manage with first year transitions with high expectations? Has everybody always beat them? Am I looking at this the wrong way? Am I overthinking too much? I want to build a career out of this so I hope I don't want to burnout and crash and burn but I want to do a good job

I feel like a robot when it comes to socializing and connecting with clients for work which is good but cannot do it in real life and be friends with people

I work in customer service/sales. Connecting with people is a major part of the job and maybe even the foundation of it. I am surprisingly good at it because I feel like I grew up with how to answer to people and tell them what they want to hear in order for them to feel appreciated. Since the dynamic is me to solve their problems, I find it easy. I am useful and I guess I am liked for my usefulness. This is evident with work but I can't be friends or be friendly with coworkers because of my usefulness.

When it comes to my personal life, I have very high difficulty making friends. I don't feel like I am able to make friends or it is just very awkward for me. I can't banter. I like stuff but I cannot connect with other people about the movies or tv shows that I like. I'm not good at storytelling.

I just attended a DnD campaign that's my 2nd one. I feel like I'm too robotic or by the book. Not as fun as exciting as others way of playing. I can't be fun snarky or fun mean. I just feel like a robot that's supposed to serve people and then say or do the right thing. I'm boring.

I wish I can be better but I don't know what to do. Only thing that makes me "human" is that I'm a cigarette smoker which also pushes people away from me but idk.

I am confused and lost. I may not have even explained the full things about me but so far best I can say is that I'm a customer-service, people-pleasing robot. There's a ton of abuse underneath that's already been acknowledged but still won't make me a social butterfly that I might need

For people who commute to work in Downtown Toronto everyday for atleast 2 hours total, how do you deal with the physical toll?

I'm going to be starting to work downtown soon just earning a little over $75k starting which isn't much but I'll be commuting via Go Train everyday. I live a little up north around Aurora and I gotta commute atleast 1 hour one way. 2 hours total. Gotta wake up at 5:30 am to make it in time.

For people who have been doing it for years, how do you manage having to wake up super early for work and dealing with rush hour? Maybe it's the night owl in me as of now who sleeps at 11 or 12 midnight and wakes up at 7:30 for work but how do you guys not get tired?

Are these for better sleep and better energy/mood?

I've been told to take magesium and zinc for better sleep but I just wanted to be sure if it's legit. I feel so lethargic lately and need to improve. Was wondering if these are okay or if there are other better alternatives instead?

Most points but very little experience gained?

My bigs made the most points but barely earned any experience. What could be the reasons for this exp gained? I believe they got blocked once or twice but would that be a factor too? Or do each player have different growth rates despite the performance?

[Routine Help] I feel like I have ruined my moisture barrier because I just washed my face and added my skincare products but my face doesn't retain moisture

I've been trying to do skincare the last year or so but the results have just been negative. I want to think it's because I'm stressed(aren't we all) or I probably am not drinking enough water(maybe) but this is just too much for no positive results. Im getting blind acne mostly and small pimples here and there and they scar and it's quite annoying.

It barely holds water or moisture after washing my face. Like it evaporates quickly. Idk if it's the climate around me but it's just weird. I sleep with an open window and use a light oscillating fan at home.

The products I use are also to moisturize like Cerave Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser, then I use TO Niacinamide or TO Hylauronic Acid, and then Cosrx Propolis Light Cream to moisturize. It feels like nothing is working to restore that moisture barrier.

I hope to get recommendations or advice. Please and thank you.
