Thoughts on my X-ray?

Dealing with neck pain for about 2 years now, mostly on the right side. Finally got X-rays done, sharing them here before my ortho appointment in 2 weeks. I can already tell the curve in my neck is straightened out but curious if any other problem is present?

Quick rundown of symptoms:

Pain is on the right side

Bending my neck to the right causes pain

Sleeping on my right side also causes pain

Had an MRI 2 years ago, showed a mild disc bulge at C5/C6

just wanna go in with a bit more info and know what to actually ask about. thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Deloitte USI Fresher Onboarding: What happens if I select "No" to Relocation & Shifts on the PHT survey?

I recently got hired on-campus for Deloitte USI as a fresher for Analyst and I am currently filling out the PHT survey. I came across these two mandatory questions

Would you be willing to relocate within India or outside India?

Are you willing to work in shifts?

I'd prefer to select No, but if doing so causes any onboarding issues or friction down the line, I'm completely fine choosing Yes.(I live in Bangalore by the way)
For folks who have gone through Deloitte USI onboarding or currently work there:

  • Has anyone selected "No" on these as a fresher? Did HR reach out or put your onboarding on hold?
  • Does selecting "Yes" actually lock you into mandatory night shifts/unwanted relocations, or is it mostly standard HR compliance text?
  • What would you recommend picking here to keep the onboarding process smooth?

Urgent: Need an appointment with Dr. S. Rajasekaran at Ganga Hospital

I live in Bangalore and want to travel to Coimbatore to consult Dr. S Rajshekharan at Ganga Hospital for a complex neck injury. I tried booking appointment online, but the earliest appointment available is November 5th, which is too far out given the urgency.

Can someone please suggest what I can do to meet him earlier? Can I just walk in and wait or is there some other option? I am okay with long waiting hours if it means getting seen sooner as it is urgent

Looking for support groups for knee injuries

I'm currently dealing with issues in both knees: suspected Grade 1 or 2 Chondromalacia Patella in the right and a medial meniscus injury combined with Hoffa's fat pad impingement in the left.

Aside from this subreddit, does anyone have recommendations for other subreddits, communities, Facebook groups, or other social media groups dedicated to these conditions? I am looking to connect with people who are in a similar boat to discuss experiences and daily management.

Thanks for any recommendation

How do I completely stop waking up at night to pee?

My sleep schedule is usually 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Every single night, without fail, I wake up in the middle of the night to urinate(around 3Am). I am able to fall back asleep within 5 to 15 minutes, but this mid-night disruption is frustrating. I know waking up once a night is perfectly alright and not a big deal but my goal is to eliminate it entirely and sleep straight through the night.

This is my sleep routine:

- Last meal 4 hours before bed

- No caffeine after 2:00 PM

- Hot shower 3 hours before bed

- Blue light blocking glasses 2 hours before bed

- Sleep environment is quiet and cold

- Consistent bedtime

- Morning sun exposure

- 240mg magnesium before sleep

(22M, 6'1 and 71 kg) What can I look into to avoid this midnight bathroom trip completely? Any suggestions are appreciated!

People & Pets face thumbnails showing exclamation marks and drastically lower counts on both Web and Android?

https://preview.redd.it/jenn1qhwccch1.png?width=3002&format=png&auto=webp&s=abe3681c91fc1fc4ba8d0282cbaa41825e9b68cb

In my People & Pets section, almost all face profile icons have turned into generic placeholders showing a white exclamation mark inside a triangle. Only a random couple of faces actually load their proper thumbnail.

Worse yet, when I click into an individual person, the number of pictures recognized with that person's face is significantly less than the number of pictures that are actually backed up of them in my library.I am seeing this exact same behavior on both the Google Photos web interface and on the Android app, ruling out a local device cache issue.
How can I solve this problem?

How do I increase my sleep duration from 6h 30mins to 8hours?

I’m 22M, 6'1", and 71kg. My main goal in extending my sleep is to increase my REM sleep, which is only 30-45 minutes a night.

Right now, I usually fall asleep between 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM and wake up around 6:00 AM. My deep and light sleep metrics are excellent, but I just wake up after 6h 30mins and miss out on that final stretch of REM.

My current sleep hygiene is strict:

Last meal is 5 hours before bed

No caffeine after 2:00 PM

Hot shower 3 hours before bed

Blue light blocking glasses 2 hours before bed

Sleep environment is quite and cold.

Consistent bedtime

Morning sun exposure

240mg magnesium before sleep

Since I'm already doing the standard hygiene practices, how do I actually train my body to stay asleep longer?

BetterDisplay — syncing brightness between MacBook and external monitor?

Using BetterDisplay with a BenQ GW2491 external monitor. When I change brightness on my MacBook, I want the external monitor's brightness to change proportionally too (and vice versa) — not just on/off, but actually tracking together. How to do this? or is there another application i can try out

Please help 🙏

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping to get some advice from the professionals here!

I’ve been dealing with chronicknee injury. My orthopaedist suspects medial chondromalacia patella. I had an MRI 8 months ago, but unfortunately, it didn't pick up the issue. My doctor mentioned the scan quality wasn't quite good enough to make a definitive diagnosis, so they want me to get a repeat scan on a 3T machine.

Because I am paying completely out of my own pocket for this 3T MRi, it’s quite a significant expense for me, and I desperately want to make sure it gets done right this time.

I'd really appreciate any advice on:
1)On the prescription from my ortho - is there anything specific I should tell my ortho to have written down so the radiologist knows exactly what to focus on?

2)At the MRI center - besides handing over the doctor's note, is there anything worth politely asking or communicating the technologist or radiologists there? (Knee coil etc? I have no clue honestly...i just read it on chatgpt)

  1. Is there anyhting else I need to do from my end to make things easier for the professionals?

Thank you so much in advance for your time and expertise. I really appreciate all the hard work you guys do

MRI for TFCC injury of Wrist

I am getting a 3T MRI for a mild but chronic TFCC injury in my right wrist. Because these structures are so small and easy to miss on a standard scan, I want to make sure that does not happen.

what do you recommend I look for or do?

  1. The Prescription: What exactly should I ask my orthopedic doctor to write down on the referral to ensure the reading radiologist focuses heavily on the TFCC complex?
  2. The Imaging Center: What technical specifications, equipment standards, or scanning protocols should I verify with the diagnostic center before booking?
