Attached are pics of the current setup, my best attempt at a wire diagram, and what I think needs to happen with the red lines being wires cut and connected

Our bathroom bulb (gr10q fitting) started flickering so I tried to replace with an led bulb and found that led bulbs need the ballast to be bypassed

There's a ballast (left), capacitor (right), and led starter

Am I right in disconnecting all those and having the mains go straight to the bulb?

The circuit then continues to the bulbs in the other rooms

Might be nice to get out and have a bit of a playabout

Will bring badminton too
