I’m doing a purge of my collection of Build a bears I wanted to post an interest check to see if anyone in interested in what I have! (Can provide photos/videos with name and date)

All are in brand new- like new condition and haven’t been cuddled just displayed (unless stated otherwise)

All have butt tags and hang tag detached and kept in a binder

I didn’t really know what flair to do for this but I chose the best one

Currently I dye my hair with Matrix Super Sync 2N colour (with 10 developer) my hair dresser had gotten me the products for me to do at home (they don’t do colour anymore as they teach at a cosmetology school full time and doesn’t take hair colour clients for now) and they gave me instructions on what to do.

I’ve been wanting to go towards a black with purple undertones. And I have been doing research and the colour line I use had 5VV (a purple) so I was wondering, can I mix it with my 2N to get the black I want with the purple undertones? I don’t like the warm tone of the colour and my hair dresser says I can put box colour over it (as long as it doesn’t touch my roots) but I want it to last longer and be “permanent. Box dye I only lasts like 5 days for me.

I mix 1.5oz of developer and colour together so I was thinking of doing 1 of my 2N and the other .5 if the 5VV plus 1.5 of the colour. Would that work? I don’t want to do it without knowing it’ll be safe for me to do

I’ve tried purple shampoo and it doesn’t work on me.

So my package was processed in my city this morning, then it was out for delivery, and now it updated saying “delivery may be delayed due to weather conditions” (it’s hazy where I am due to wildfire smoke, I’m in the yellow for the warning)

So I’m understanding it correctly, is my package still being delivery but it MAY be delayed but there is a chance it’ll be delivered?

I’m in the east end and my power went out around 4:35pm and it is still out (been almost 20 minutes)

Im off Starwood and Watson. As well I have a friend that lived down the street near Starwood and Eastview and they told me they don’t have power either

Anyone else experiencing a power outage?

Update: as of about 5:50pm it’s back on

So my dad royally fucked up when transferring stuff from one phone to another (he upgraded form a 13 Pro Max to a 17 Pro Max so he was transferring everything over) and he forgot the 4 digit pin to his new phone and old phone (he is mad about it that he changed it and doesn’t remember)

Is there like anything to do in that scenario? With adding a new Apple ID it will ask to verify by phone number but he doesn’t have access to it as his phone is locked out since he doesn’t remember the phone password.

Idk if going to Apple will solve anything, he has his Apple ID on his iPad so it’s there but he can’t verify any information to move it over which is the part that he is frustrating about since when he tries tiling into his email it of course asks for a text code for a phone number.

Any advice is appreciated

So does anyone know why the resale value on Jellycats is so high? (Or speculate why it is so high)

I’m just genuinely curious, and this is excluding retired Jellycats, because I see more often new releases of Jellycats that are widely available in retail stores (not online exclusive or store/region specific ones)are reselling for higher than you can buy it for.

Here is an example: I’ve been looking into getting Gobfrey the Whale Shark, on the website he is $38 USD but im Canadian so converted to that he is roughly $52-$55 CAD (give or take depending on the conversion rate and without shipping which is another $20 for Canada). Which most of my local stores that sell Jellycats sell him for $52-$55 which is standard. He was sold out before but he has restocked for the summer release so he is available again.

However when I look on EBay and Poshmark for him, the listing are $80-$150 excluding the shipping. Which is like more than the $55, I know I could go to the store and get him, but of course the store isn’t gonna hold it for me if I’m unable to purchase him right at this second. And don’t get me started on Facebook marketplace, I see so many jelly cats on there and there for ridiculous prices as well. But it has me questioning like how does that item that is more or less readily available and not an exclusive one become high in value?

Like is it just cause it’s a Jellycat? Because that seems a little bit ridiculous in my opinion, since I remember being told in another specific plush group, I’m in and collect that a lot of times once the product is out of the store it loses its value because then it’s hard to sell it at the same prices in store or higher if it’s more or less a normal item and not an exclusive.

The normal person I go to for my nails is sadly unavailable before my vacation to my cottage and I’ll be due for a refill by that time and I want to get them done before I go.

I usually get bio gel and designs, so please leave any recommendations of good nail techs around Guelph! Also open to other nail techs in Waterloo

I’ve been wanting to try out this year for a while, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Amazon is not really reliable, and the prices are so expensive for it.

I’m not sure if there’s any other local place in Canada that specifically sells it, but any recommendations are great!
