What should I do with my t slim x2 once I'm no longer using it?

I got a pump because I'm pregnant, but I'm not planning on using it postpartum. I can't fathom just throwing it away, considering how much it costs. What do people do with their pumps when they're no longer using them?

Please help me write a note to my landscapers about faulty power lines.

I had AI translate this from English but I wanted to make sure it makes sense:

"Hola,

Gracias."

Will they understand my concerns?

Happy Father’s Day to all the special needs dads.

Today I’m thinking about the dads who keep going even when parenting looks nothing like they imagined. The dads who learn new ways to communicate, who celebrate progress that other people might not even notice, who carry stress quietly, who advocate, protect, comfort, and love their children exactly as they are.

Special needs parenting can be lonely and exhausting, but it is also full of deep love, strength, and moments that matter more than words can explain.

To every dad doing his best in this life, I hope you feel seen and appreciated today. Happy Father’s Day. 💙

Happy Father’s Day to all the autism dads out there.

To the dads who show up every single day through the meltdowns, the sleepless nights, the therapies, the appointments, the worry, the victories no one else understands, and the love that never quits, you deserve to be celebrated today!

Being an autism dad can be exhausting, confusing, beautiful, heartbreaking, and rewarding all at the same time. Some days are hard in ways other people will never fully see, but your patience, protection, and love matter more than words can say.

Wishing all the autism dads a very happy Father’s Day. I hope you feel appreciated today. 💙

What car scrap/junk/parts places are best to sell my car to?

Update: theclunkerjunker.com was a winner! They offered me $445 for a 98 Honda Accord in pretty bad shape.

I have an old beater that just sits in my driveway taking up space. I don't want to sell it to a regular person because it has some issues. Trying to get the most money, don't know where to even look. Addison/Bensenville/Elmhurst area. Please advise.

Help my stepfather’s dog Patch get surgery to remove an enormous cyst.

I’m sharing this for my stepfather’s dog, Patch.

Patch needs surgery, and my stepfather is trying to do everything he can to help him.

If you are able to donate anything at all, even a small amount, it would mean so much. And if you cannot donate, sharing the fundraiser would still help more than you know.

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this, donate, or share.

Pregnant and having nightmares every day after quitting.

I don't even know what to write other than I am desperate for advice. I have PTSD and weed was helping me sleep. I had to quit due to pregnancy and I'm having nightmares almost nightly.

My psychiatrist will not prescribe prazosin because I'm pregnant. Does anyone have any advice?

Porty training bigger/older kids: camping toilet.

I just wanted to share something that might help another parent because I wish I thought of this sooner.

My child is 9 years old and potty trained, but he outgrew the regular toddler potty a long time ago. A lot of child potty chairs are made for really little kids, and once your child is bigger, they can be uncomfortable, awkward, or just not realistic anymore.

What has worked really good for us is a portable camping toilet. It looks much more like a real toilet, it is bigger and more sturdy than a toddler potty, and it is still small enough to use for potty training or bathroom independence at home.

They usually cost around $45 to $50, so they are not super cheap, but they are also not crazy expensive like some adaptive bathroom equiptment. For a child who needs more support, more time, or a toilet that feels less intimidating then the regular bathroom toilet, it can be a really useful option.

I know every child is different, but I wanted to mention it in case anyone has a bigger child who no longer fits safely or comfortably on a toddler potty. Search for “portable camping toilet” or “portable travel toilet” and look for one that has a real seat shape and a sturdy base.

Sometimes the best solution isn’t marketed for kids at all.

Tip for parents potty training older or bigger kids: try a portable camping toilet.

Did Abilify affect you milk supply?

I am concerned about Abilify lowering prolactin and affecting milk supply.

Were you able to breastfeed at all?

Did your milk come in normally?

Did you have low supply or no supply?

Did anyone switch their medications to something else or adjust their dose and notice a difference?

My goal is not necessarily exclusive breastfeeding. I would just really like to breastfeed or pump for at least the first few weeks at the least.

Was there a medication that you switched to that worked?

Has anyone breastfed successfully while taking Abilify or Rexulti?

Has anyone been able to successfully breastfeed while taking Abilify or Rexulti?

I am concerned because I have read that these medications may lower prolactin and affect milk supply. I am looking for real experiences from people who were on either medication during pregnancy or postpartum.

Were you able to produce enough milk to breastfeed, or did it affect your supply?
