The best way to play lego dimensions on Cemu!

For those who don't, legotoypad is a desktop windows overlay app for cemu that let's choose any character/vehicule without using the built in toypad.

Legotoypad kills the friction of having to alt tab to choose bin files entirely making the experience of playing lego dimensions on pc more immersive and enjoyable.

The app needs a fork build of cemu, v0.2 can be downloaded from here: https://github.com/harrysof/Cemu-2.6-Remote-Toypad-Build/releases/tag/V0.2

Legotoypad v1.1:

https://github.com/harrysof/LegoToypad/releases/tag/V1.1

Setup is easy just run lego toypad app and open it by pressing the back button of your xinput controller (xbox or third party xinput supported controllers), alternatively, you can change the shortcut button to anything you want via the app.

Extract and Run the cemu fork (you can load your saves fairly easy since this cemu build is just version 2.6 but with Tcp network listener builtin)

Savannah's pizza, whopper burger and panonzo sandwich are really good but quite expensive...

The whopper cheeseburger is 550 dzd, one of the best burgers i have ever had. Pananzo sandwich going for 650 is fine, nothing special, it oozes of cheese but still nothing special.

Now for the pizza, its definitely my favorite in Algiers. here i got with my friend a savannah mini pizza for 900dzd, really expensive but has some really high quality toppings and that's what made it rank the high tier for me. All the ingredients are fresh and high quality, notably the cheddar cheese.

And the chicken mini pizza for 600 dzd, simple but again its really tasty.

Overall, savannah gets a 8/10 for their quality food.

A new way to enjoy lego dimensions on cemu!

LegoToypad (ex ToypadPicker) is a very early in development proof of concept app that lets you choose characters in Lego Dimensions on Cemu without having to open the built-in toypad emulator, necessitating further unwanted character bin selection and killing the Lego gameplay immersion.

It works by adding a listener into Cemu that LegoToypad can talk to through TCP, so a custom Cemu build was compiled for this matter.

The idea is simple: hit a shortcut (default is back button on xbox controller), a small overlay pops up over your game, you pick a figure and a Toypad slot with your controller, and it's loaded instantly, no alt-tabbing to a file dialog, no breaking the couch co-op vibe. You can even set the overlay to grab controller input away from the game while you're picking, so you don't accidentally punch someone in Lego City while browsing your bin folder.

Where it's at right now:

Full 4-controller support (not locked to player 1)

Configurable toggle shortcut, controller or keyboard

Auto-scans a folder of your organized .bin files, no manual setup per character

What it's not, yet:

XInput only for now, so Xbox-style controllers (or anything running through a translator like DS4Windows/DualSenseX) work, but a PS4/PS5 pad won't be recognized on its own

Genuinely early, no create clear or move option yet. and no visual on the actual toypad.

you can try it by downloading this custom cemu build here and the legotoypad app here

G2G.com is not working specifically on brave browser (tested on android and desktop windows 11 version). It works fine on google chrome desktop and 1dm+ on android. What could be the issue ?

Before anybody comment on the website, it's just a way for poor people to get cheaper subscriptions.

I'm really new to this whole video restoration and upscaling space. so for my first experiment, I tried upscaling the Mortal Kombat 9 FMV Cinematic trailer using topaz video ai, here is my 2 pass step workflow and you guys can tell me where i can make a difference in terms of better restoring this footage:

First step was ripping the 720p highly compressed BIK File from the game files, converted it to mp4 using a python script (CRF 0 for near lossless conversion but not really).

Pass 1: I threw the video to topaz and using the proteus model (starlight mini doesn't work on my pc) with no upscaling yet, i was able to remove some of the compression artifacts. parameters i used:

Fix Compression -->60

Recover Detail --> 20

Reduce Noise -->20

everything else was off for now.

Pass 2: took the exported 720p video from pass 1 and applied proteus on it once again, this time i upscaled to 1080p (i don't care for 4k since i don't have an actual display myself and this was just an experiment anyways). the parameters this time were:

Fix Compression --> 20

Recover Detail --> 25

Reduce Noise --> 15

Sharpen --> 15

Anti alias --> 15

Grain -->Size 1 Amount 3

and that's it. these are some of the screenshots of footage before and after. I know this looks very beginner upscaling but for my first time, it's not that bad. what can i improve on especially restoring background scenes that might be to blurry to even work on.
