Looking to buy AppleTV HD A1625 for our bedroom tv from Mercari, but several listings I’m looking at have the AppleTv in great shape and comes with power cord…just no remote. Is there a universal remote by chance that can be purchased so it can work or should I just be looking for someone else randomly selling an AppleTV HD A1625 remote on its own??
Yesterday I was playing Until Dawn (2015 version) and did something in the game that should’ve triggered a trophy, however it didn’t happen. I also noticed before booting the game, my PS5 was acting funny and wouldn’t let me log in/was showing me offline and was saying something about a server issue. It prompted me to google if PSN was down and it wasn’t. I didn’t think much of it til I was playing the game and wasn’t awarded the trophy. Could that be related at all, not being signed in and not awarded the trophy because of it?
She found our backyard Fourth of July weekend. We fed her for about a week outside while we tried to locate an owner (no luck in finding one). Would run anytime she saw us. Borrowed a trap from a Nextdoor neighbor and successfully caught her to bring to a vet for chip check and quick assessment. No chip. It was at that point my husband and I agreed to keep her and have her join our boys. They were very brave and got along with her well once they were allowed to since we needed to keep them separated for a little while, but also because she had fleas. Since then she’s been flea free and loving life, while also chasing around her two brothers :-) last few pics are of her being silly yesterday morning.
I still feel embarrassed. During a team meeting today I was discussing an upcoming email newsletter and was trying to mention something that one of my coworkers shared last week that we could include. Me: “I was thinking that in this next newsletter we could include the report that…*blanks on coworkers name, looks over at her, still not remembering, I awkwardly laugh*” she then jumped in saying she agreed that we should include it and why, and my supervisor also agreed it was a good idea. Meeting proceeded on. That hasn’t really happened before where I completely blank on someone’s name, specifically when they’re in the room with me! That usually happens when whoever I’m talking about isn’t present/around me. I’ll usually say things like “what’s their face told me or whatever their name is sent it to me”. I felt embarrassed because she was sitting right there and she’s been with the company for the past year. So I see her almost all the time. I know everyone’s name at work. This isn’t the first time I’ll just forget during a conversation, but it is the first time when the person I’m talking about was sitting right there. Just makes me feel bad because it’s not like I’m doing it on purpose. Before MS, I used to have a great memory on a lot of things. I would never really forget what I was trying to say mid sentence or forget things like someone’s name. Now I feel like my brain turns off when I’m talking and forget what I’m about to say and forget things like someone’s name. Feels like it’s happening a lot more lately. Not sure if it’s because I’m due for my next infusion in about 2 weeks. But I just hate this feeling of forgetfulness.
This little old lady found our backyard on Wednesday late evening. We fed her and gave her water. She did not shy away from us. We took photos, shared online, I searched lost pet sites for any listings that looked like her. Because she has a flea collar on we hoped she belonged to someone and was just very lost. No one stepped forward on the posts we made. She came back on Thursday early evening, we gave her more food and water, and then took her to a 24 hr vet. Found out she was a girl. She has a lot of matted fur, emaciated. No immediate signs of fleas and unfortunately no chip. Because of her teeth they said she’s on the older side. We took her in and cared for her for nearly 24 hrs. I reported her as found to APS site. Once she had some good food and water in her she’d try to boss me around when I would visit the bathroom set up to check on her and scoop her litter box. Loved getting pets and would purr, but it was difficult petting her at times because she was literally a pile of bones. Kept rubbing against the sink spout and I figured out she liked to drink from it and I gave her one of our spare cat fountains to drink from. We observed she could easily hop in and out of the tub and took most comfort in our bathroom sink. I contacted APS today when they opened and dropped her off several hours later as we’re unfortunately not able to keep her. We are at capacity for animals and do not have the proper funds to give her the care she needs to get better. I was emotional dropping her off and seeing her in the intake area with the others but I know it’s what’s best for her now. She is now in the care of APS and the stray hold has begun. I’m not sure if an owner will come forward to claim her so she will most likely become available for adoption in the next few days. I’m sharing as I want her to find a good home. If she becomes available for adoption, please consider her.
What can I do?? Makes me sad especially when they’re patiently waiting their turn.
I feel like every time I look out the window she’s there! When I looked outside just now there was a hummingbird and then Dolores. Didn’t move quick enough to get a photo of the both of them there.
Best tips for use? It just arrived today. I am planning to attach it to one of my poles that’s 84 in. towards the top but there’s some hanging feeders below with shepherds hooks. Would that be ok? Should I put anything on the birdhouse entrance to deter house sparrows or any other invasive birds? I was reading the instructions and it looks like it was saying I should paint it with something to protect the wood but it didn’t specify what.
This little lady found our backyard and has visited the camera feeder multiple times today. I was researching that house finches are invasive…is there anything I could do to try and deter them? We get a lot of visitors and this is the first house finch I have seen. we started bird feeding in our backyard in March.
Sorry for bad lighting. Earlier I saw two birds with one feeding the other (juvenile??) and then one visited my birdfy and it detected it as a house sparrow…but Merlin is saying chipping sparrow for both photos?
I assumed her stand in/temporary replacement while she's away would also be covered with my insurance. Guess not. I've already hit my OOP for the year, so what would've been a $0 visit this time around (normally $40 copay) is now $216.26. About to reach out to the provider office now because this is messed up. Already canceled my follow up appointment with the stand in provider.
After waking up this morning I looked outside and saw a new customer. It visited a few times when I looked out the window throughout the day. Merlin ID’d as Rose-breasted Grosbeak. All feeders are now going away at night and not just Birdfy. Damn raccoon! Ugh
A raccoon figured out we had free food in our backyard and has visited nightly since about a week or so ago. I don’t want to have to put the feeders away every night in the shed and take out in the morning every day, so trying to figure out different solutions. We have two poles, one with three feeders hanging and a water bowl and the other with a birdfy feeder. Both have squirrel baffles and were working well until the raccoon appeared. Last night it removed the seed guard and also got into the hanging feeders and made an absolute mess. I’m wondering if anyone knows if the WBU raccoon baffle would work on a non WBU pole system? I already have two poles and the structure of them look similar to WBU’s advanced pole system pieces.
