Material Science or Chemistry

I want to pursue a career in material science/nanotechnology but i am not sure about what major to choose for my ug studies. I have heard that chemistry graduates can opt for material science in their masters course. So, should i choose chemistry as my major or material science and engineering as extremely few unis offer material science and engineering as an ug major?

Also, will i need a phd or is a masters enough for a good job?

If i do choose to get a phd, what are its perks over just a masters degree

Material science engineering or chemistry

I am a student from india. I want to have a future in material science. So, should i opt for a material science engineering degree or a bsc chemistry degree as chemistry graduates can enroll in a masters degree in material science? Also, getting admission into material science is more difficult that chemistry.

I want to study on a full scholarship. Will choosing chemistry over material science increase my chances?

Difference between Electrochemical, Galvanic & Voltaic cell

What is the difference between electrochemical, galvanic and voltaic cell?

My book says that electrochemical cell converts electrical energy to chemical energy & vice versa for galvanic cell.

Google says that galvanic cell is a sub category of electrochemical cell.

Which one is correct?

Rate my chances for admission into KFUPM

I am from india. I am planning to apply to kfupm for a bsc chemistry degree this year. I secured more than 97% in class 10th, 11th and 12th with english, physics, chemistry, maths & biology as my subjects. I have also won 2 science fairs, runner up in a cross country run & awarded as the most regular student.

What are my chances of getting admission?

Any other advice regarding admission process & what score to aim for in the SAT?

I am looking to pursue a bachelors degree in chemistry this year. I am extremely interested in chemistry & this interest has grown significantly over the last couple of years.

I was wondering if coding or programming skills are essential to have a good career in chemistry. Also, are there any benefits to having such skills?

Recently on the Study in Saudi portal it showed that King Saud University requires the SAT test. It showed it being mandatory rather than recommended. The next SAT exam is after the application deadline ends. Can i get admission without it?
