Looking for a travel companion — one month of wandering the Himalayas, no fixed plan

29M here, just wrapped up a PhD and about to disappear into the mountains for a month. Not looking for an itinerary — more like walking without a fixed destination, letting each day decide the next, staying wherever feels right, moving on when it doesn’t.

Thinking Leh, Spiti, Dharamshala/McLeodGanj, Bir, Manali — but honestly open to wherever the road takes us. Budget travel, shared stays, slow mornings, no rush.

Looking for someone with the same headspace — up for genuine wandering, comfortable with silence as much as conversation, not chasing a checklist of “sights.” I’m bi, and happy to connect with anyone who vibes with this kind of open, no-mind travel, regardless of gender.

If this sounds like your kind of trip too, drop a comment or DM. Let’s figure out the details from there.

Drop everything. Let’s get lost in the Himalayas for 15-20 days — like a nomad. [M30 looking for people around similar age]

This isn’t just about ticking off places. I want it to feel like a pilgrimage — something spiritual, something that touches you somewhere deeper than a checklist ever could. Quiet mountain temples at dawn, long silences on bus .. this is about finding someone on the same wavelength, not fitting a box.

Travel-wise, I want to move like an actual nomad — cheap local buses and shared jeeps, basic homestays, street food and dhabas, figuring out the next stop only when we get there. No fixed bookings, no “must-see checklist” energy. Rough direction: Kedarnath, Badrinath, Tungnath, Kartik Swami — then further out to Leh and Spiti Valley. Loosely Haridwar → Kedarnath → Badrinath → Manali → Kaza (Spiti) → Shimla → Chandigarh. 15 to 20 days, could stretch longer if somewhere’s worth staying. We decide as we go.

I’m going either way — solo if I have to. But if you’re around my age, at your own crossroads, craving change, and open to seeing where a shared road might lead — this is your sign.

If that’s you — comment or DM. Let’s actually do this instead of just talking about it.

[M/31, Sagittarius Asc] Marriage falling apart, I want a divorce — is it written in our charts? Also asking about kids & remarriage

Putting this out there for the community’s perspective. My wife and I have both reached the same conclusion — we want a divorce. It’s mutual at this point, but I’m the one who’s certain I can’t continue in this relationship.
Does the synastry/compatibility reflect this outcome? Is separation/divorce indicated (7th house, 7th lord condition, Venus placement, etc.)?
Am I likely to have kids at some point later on — not with her, but in a future relationship?
Any indication of a second marriage for me down the line?

Would appreciate genuine reads, especially from anyone who works with Vimshottari dasha timing — trying to understand not just “is this indicated” but roughly when. Please advise me and help me? Also how tough the divorce process going to be ? Thanks.

M/29, based in Chennai. Planning a roughly 20-day Himalayan trip and looking for company. I am Kinky and Raunchy!

Haridwar → Kedarnath → Badrinath → Manali → Keylong → Kaza → Tabo → Shimla → Chandigarh
Start point can be Delhi or Haridwar, whichever works for you. Trip ends at Chandigarh.
Who I’m looking for
One or two other guys, roughly similar age, from anywhere in India. I’d rather keep it small — I’m on the quieter side and a small group travels better for the kind of trip this is. Should be comfortable with buses and shared cabs, homestays and budget guesthouses, and long road days.
More important than where you’re from is the pace. I’m a slow traveller — I’d rather spend an extra day somewhere than rush to tick off the next stop. Acclimatisation days built in, a few short hikes, plenty of unplanned time.
About me
PhD in environmental engineering, chemistry background. Mountains over nightlife. I’ve spent time in Spiti before — I volunteered as a chemistry teacher at a school in Tabo — so I know that stretch reasonably well and can help plan the Himachal leg. Kedarnath and Badrinath will be new for me.
Optional add-on
On the way back I’m planning a stop at Ujjain for Mahakaleshwar. If you’re heading south too and that interests you, we could do that leg together as well.

[M/29, Chennai] Looking for travel buddies — mountain lovers, hikers & trekkers, let’s connect!

Hey folks! I’m a 29M based in Chennai looking to meet fellow travel lovers, whether it’s for a big trip or just to hang out and explore in and around the city. I’m especially keen to connect with mountain lovers, hikers, and trekkers — anyone who lights up at the idea of hitting a trail or planning the next getaway. Even if there’s no trip on the calendar yet, I’m happy to just meet up, swap travel stories, and see where things go from there.
Just to be upfront: I would prefer to connect with gay or bi friendly guys, since I’m one myself. If that sounds like you and you’re into travel, hiking, or the mountains, kindly ping me. Thanks! 🏔️

M/29, Chennai] Looking for 1–2 fellow solo travelers for a Spiti Valley + Himalayan road trip (Delhi–Kalpa–Kaza–Manali–Kilar–Dharamshala loop). September 1st week onwards.

The idea is to keep it flexible and split costs where it makes sense — sharing rooms and transport (shared cabs / bike rentals / etc.) so the trip stays budget-friendly without losing the freedom of solo travel.
A bit about what I’m looking for:
Passionate solo travelers around my age (mid-to-late 20s / early 30s)
Easygoing, adaptable, and up for both long drives and slow days soaking in the mountains
Someone comfortable splitting accommodation and transport
A bit about me:
I speak Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, English, and some Kannada — so language won’t be a barrier for most folks
I love the mountains, quiet villages, and meeting people along the way
Just so it’s clear from the start: I’m LGBTQ+ friendly (gay/bi friendly), so anyone from the community is more than welcome to reach out

Sagittarius asc, Moon in Pisces, Sun-Mercury in Leo, debilitated Venus in 10th — worst phase of my life. Need a read on career, marriage & children.

Birth details: 24 August 1994, 3:42 PM, Pondicherry . From what I understand my chart has Sagittarius ascendant, Moon in Pisces, and Jupiter exalted.

Life context right now: I recently got married, but only two weeks in I’ve realized I don’t want to stay in this marriage. I feel emotionally drained, unsafe, and disconnected, and I’m in the early steps of figuring out how to exit it. It’s been the hardest period of my life, and my family isn’t supporting me, so I feel quite alone.

What I’m trying to understand:

**•**	What does my chart say about **career** — stability, direction, turning points ahead?
**•	Marriage and partnership** — anything that speaks to what I’m going through, and to a healthier relationship later?
**•**	Will I have **children** at some point?

Title: Married 6 months ago, now I think my wife is a covert narcissist and no one believes me because she’s “the sweetest person.” How did you cope?

It came to a head recently during an incredibly stressful period in my career (I was defending my PhD). She was harassing me over text and I hit a breaking point — I told her I couldn’t take it anymore and asked her not to contact me. That’s when I finally called my parents and told them everything, and only then did they tell me all the things she’d been saying about them behind my back.

Here’s the part that makes me feel insane: no one believes me, because to everyone she is the sweetest, kindest person alive. Now that my parents have pulled back and reduced contact with her, she’s turned it around and is blaming them. And my parents — who come from a very conservative background and honestly tend to side with the woman even though I’m their son — still don’t fully get it.

So I feel completely alone in this. I don’t want to live with her anymore. But being a man in this culture, I feel helpless — like my own family won’t stand with me, and her father is a lawyer on top of it.

I’ve worked hard for the life I have. I don’t want to throw it away. I want to be happy.

So my question to anyone who’s been through something like this — a partner everyone else adores but who quietly manipulates you: How did you cope? How did you get people to believe you, or did you stop trying? And how did you get out?
