Have you ever bought a second copy of an album?

I just did. I feel honestly kinda bad (even though it wasn't that much money) but it was a second copy of Russian Roulette by Red Velvet. I already bought one secondhand months ago but the damage on it (+ a ripped page that was there from the start and that I wasn't told about before buying..) has been bothering me so much, especially because it's one of my favorites in my collection design-wise. I plan to repurpose that one by cutting the pictures out and using them as mini posters, instead. Or would it be smarter to just sell it? I'm not sure how much Russian Roulette is going for these days. Probably not all that much, considering what I paid.

Newest additions!

I'm so so proud of scoring Oh! for such a good price. There wasn't even a photocard shown in the pictures, so imagine my surprise when I opened the album and I saw it. Truly collectors luck 🥲💗 and Twinkle! It's such an underappreciated album. I love the concept so much.

Are the Loona Hula Hoop Photocards know to be thinner and more flimsy than their Korean ones?

Basically what the title says. I bought the album off of someone from Vinted and I'm just.. a little taken aback by it, I guess? Is this just normal for this album? I have the Limited A Ver. if that matters anyhow 🥲 Mods this isn't really a photocard authentication post as it's just a general question so I don't think it goes against the rules but please do tell me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

DPD und Vinted sagt Paket da. Ist nicht da.

Was der Titel sagt.

Everything Loona related is. so. expensive.

It's so frustrating. Being a Loona collector is fun—I love their music and the girls with my entire heart—and I really wanna indulge in it but it's so hard without spending half your kidney. It's not JUST albums—it's everything. Inclusions, old polaroids, the Loonaverse posters, everything! People on Ebay and other platforms take so much advantage of it. If it says Loona, they overprice it. It's so disheartening. I just wanna have fun collecting. And I'm willing to put in the money, but god, it's really not fair. And it's fucking disgusting by those who overprice. 100€ for a solo album is just insanity. Even fp and with photocards. I hope this shit stays online forever and never gets sold, so it ends up rotting in these people's homes. Sorry. Agh. They're not selling it to give their beloved albums to another Orbit who wants them, no, they want to scam people and take advantage of this.

August update of my Loona collection !

Ah, I'm so glad I managed to get my hands on some of the more expensive ones already (namely Chuu and XX) 🥲 I've currently got Hula Hoop Limited A on the way, so I think after that arrives I'll take a small break from collecting Loona to spare my wallet for a little while. Just need to look into getting an according photocard for Love&Live at some point.

Are Aliexpress albums fake or not?

I know this is a bit of a stupid question but still. People always say no fake albums exist, yet.. There are albums being sold on Aliexpress. They're often called taiwanese pressings such as the Pink Tape album. But aren't they still real, then? I'm not looking to buy from there as I'd rather not take the risk but I'm just genuinely curious about this topic. Where can you make the distinction between taiwanese pressing and just fake? *Are* there fakes? I'm really confused.

I asked on another subreddit but people are SUPER divided on this so I wanna try my luck here again and see lol

Is the Ice Cream Cake Automatic Ver. Album more rare these days?

Basically what the title says. I NEVER see it around on Vinted or anything. Only the colored ICC Version. I did score the Automatic Ver. for like 2€ though, so that's pretty damn cool.

Danke!

I'm so sick of people saying that Vinted is the place to be for Kpop albums

Because that's just straight up a lie. I realize it heavily when buying Soshi stuff. People overprize non-rare albums so hard just because it's a popular name. Yes, it's OOP. No, it's not necessarily rare. It's really annoying. I've made much better and cheaper finds on local websites. Whatever works for people but just sick of people generalizing when Vinted definitely has issues. Not to mention the high shipping costs.

New SONE - Things I have to know or learn about?

Basically what the title says. I know I'm late to the party but.. better late than never 🫪 I know pretty much the basics. I know the title tracks, the whole Jessica fiasco (or well, the basic gist of it with her company and her having recently sung Soshi songs again), some memes and I've been falling in love with some Bsides like Flower Power lately.

Got this holy grail!

Phew, I was lucky as it was unusually cheap. I did order from Korea, though so shipping killed me.. I'm never doing that again. Please don't ask how much I paid 🤕🙏🏻

Typical Danal reprint flaw?

Danal reprints usually have flaws going on or well, generally Loona albums do, such as the colors from one side rubbing off onto the white. Is this one of those flaws or just the sellers fault I bought it from? I can't tell and I'd like some help. Thanks!

Ideas for things in a Cyberpunk setting

Basically what the title says. I'm working on a cyberpunk setting and I'd just like some ideas on general things that are typical (or maybe not) for a cyberpunk setting. Can be anything from character dynamics to concepts of vehicles to whatever.
