The Departed (2006)

The Departed (2006)

Amazing movie Fantastic casting and a well written linear style screenplay. Acting was extraordinary Leo scored most of the scenes. And damon had subtle acting. As usual jack lived as a gangster/don in this movie. Vera farmiga timeless beauty. Really enjoyed the whole movie

Recommending Dorohedoro manga

Alright it took me some months to finish dorohedoro. I enjoyed all the 167.5 chapters. I always had a feeling while reading this manga that "in the end what if I didn't understand the story". Because of the magic powers and the story itself kinda feels like a non linear movie. It took me some time to understand the magic powers and the basic storyline to continue reading. I felt this feeling while i started and around 90-100 chapters i understand the basic plot. This could be a reason for some readers to drop this manga but guess what "EVERY PIECES 🧩 WILL CONNECT IN THE END". The ending was so satisfying. fun fact it's so crazy that the author somewhat managed to keep most of the main characters alive 😆 except matsumara 🙃

Pacific rim (2013)

I love watching robots and cyber oriented movies and i really like monster related movies. And when I came to know about this movie i thought it was a double treat for me. But the movie was good and did not meet my expectations. The only reason for that is the CGI and fight scenes most of the Kaiju oriented scenes are placed in the night and I was like man i can't see a damn thing. Trust if they are not added blue glow to the Kaiju body areas it would be difficult to even spot them. This is the only negative point but the pacing of the movie's acting and screenplay was good. And it's worth a try ngl the main robot/cyborg details was cool i really loved that.

Obsession (2026)

Because of so much hype this movie got i gave it a try last night. I'm quite impressed with the acting and screenplay. The plot is interesting as well as slop. But the movie shines in the acting area. After the tiny wood got broken every scene "i watched like what gonna happens next what she goona do". Particularly the car scene was good and they should have focused on the origin or the back story of the one wish willow. Overall it's really a good movie

A Few Good Men(1992)

This movie has to be one of the best courtroom dramas I have ever seen this weekend. The character writing screenplay was good and the music was not that good to remember. It's a slow paced movie and it attains peak at the last part of the film. I got really satisfied when Danny said "I'm not a son I'm a lawyer working for the United States and now go get arrested YOU SON OF A BITCH" to jessep. This one scene and dialogue is worth seeing the whole movie. W movie 🙂

As Good as It Gets(1997)

This movie is awesome one of the best feel good movie i came across this week. Now they were three main stories but again i think the carol spencer story ended when udall funded money for her son. And about simon after he got badly injured by the robbers he needs a spark to draw again and Carol gave the spark. But the whole movie revolves around udall about how an OCD person handles many things in his life. and there were many sweet spots like udall getting friendly with the dog is the first thing he started to come out of the OCD. And the next three things would be in the last part of the movie where Udall lets Simon stay inside his apartment room and my favourite sweet spot is "HE FORGETS TO LOCK THE DOOR". he always locks the door three times. And the last thing is udall making a move on Carol. And there are many subtle moments in this movie. Maybe only the OCD was able to feel it and notice it. The movie was amazing carol and Simon character writing is good. And udall simply carrying this whole movie with his acting his character writing was amazing. The music is cool and yeah its a good movie

Goodfellas(1990)

Man this movie is a masterpiece. This has to be one of the finest work of Martin Scorsese. After reading the wiseguy book and getting the character ideas and story for the movie. Martin Scorsese must have met the real gangster in real life. Just to know how a gangster would walk how a gangster would eat and how a gangster would light a cigarette. I mean god damn the details in the movie were amazing. Mind blowing fast paced screenplay amazing music i love the music they played at the end of the movie. And the character redemption arc was just perfect it's just perfect. More than that the details in this movie of how the gangster and the mafia thing works. It was one hell of a ride ngl.

My favourite dialogue in this movie would be "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster." This is iconic and my favourite character would be SPIDER the bartender guy. and my favourite scene is spider after getting insulted by tommy he will say "fuck off yourself tommy" at that time I felt like spider looks more like a gangster than the henry tommy and Jimmy

Hands down Karen hill has to be one of the loyal person in this whole movie. She knows henry has an affair she gets henry bailed out by throwing his mom's house. She's far better than Skyler white in breaking bad on the movie she was loyal. But then in the end after 25 years of marriage karlen hill separated herself from henry because of not having the luxury life and money they had before i think so...

Once again the detailing every character arc writing was mind blowing left me out of speech this is masterpiece
