Black lagoon is MID i wouldn't say it's good and i wouldn't say it's bad and it's not story oriented it's like events of things that are taken by a group of pirates and how they handle them.there is not much of a character development too so if we sum all the things this anime is probably MID(it's just my opinion it may change after i see the season 2 and OVA)

My experience

It's been a long time since i read a good manga with the good story and continuation i already watched the anime i liked it i finished 2 seasons and started the manga around 100-101 chapters around 14 days i read all the chapters 220 chapters and it was awesome artstyle, backstory,more importantly the continuation and flow on each chapter the story is moving along with each chapter it's not lacking the pacing is good and the ending too the way the author supports his each dialogue through the narrative and artstyle is crazy and good goes directly into masterpiece
