What is 1 thing you really want to see in Season 5?

Something that would make you super happy and excited. It could be more Cressida scenes, or giving Kate more of a presence, or Eloise writing letters.....or anything really. I will be mailing the responses to Jess.

Re-watching season 2 and I have questions...[S4 Spoilers]

It's so interesting to watch season 2 while knowing what the show would become later on. Some things that stand out:

  • Kate's pregnancy lasts a whole of 3 episodes, but it has such a big significance later on. It is strange to think that while the S2 plot is happening, she is regularly being abducted and experimented on and we just know nothing about it and there is no indication, hints or foreshadowing about it whatsoever.

  • There is such a big mystery about "which alien species is trying to destroy Earth", which goes on for about 5 episodes before we finally find out, but then it becomes such a mundane, matter of fact part of the rest of the show that it's strange to see how much it was built up and shrouded in mystery, only to become an average matter of fact right away.

  • Same with Bridget, the search for him takes up like 7 episodes and continues to be one of the big ongoing themes of the season, but then once he joins Harry, he doesn't actually have a huge role in season 3 & 4, he is mostly there for comic relief and occasional help in fights.

  • The idea that there was an alternate timeline where the Grays successfully destroyed Earth and Harry just walked the desolated planet for 500 years is so strange. Wouldn't the Avians intervene or do something? Wouldn't any other alien race want to utilize the planet for something, everyone is just fine with leaving it as a hot burning desert for centuries? This could happen but seems unlikely in hindsight.

While re-watching the show so many aspects seem a little weird and not really logically consistent with the things that happen later on. Did anyone else notice this? What do you think about it?
