I've been fishing in a shallow river 3 times now, no fish, ever. I see lots of them make waves and saw one jump, but haven't gotten even a nibble. 110€ in and I've only been able to lose a spinner and a flat lure. I've tried 7g spinners, they get stuck a lot. The 10g flats, stuck a lot.

2,5-3" jigs seem to get stuck less but aren't catching anything either. I've tried red, green, blue all kinds. I even tried a floating lure cause it's so shallow, but can't throw that very far.

Should I keep trying with the small jigs? I don't want to do anything big cause I wanna get a feel for how a fish even feels, and whether drag is too tight or not.

I tend to cast, wait a few seconds and reel. Should I try a different technique? I feel I'm reeling a bit faster than I'd like but otherwise it gets stuck on underwater plants.

Also when I'm reeling am I meant to point the tip of the rod up or down at the water cause I see a bit of both?

BMW E60 525i 2004 with an automatic ZF6HP gearbox.

Used to always make a scratch sound when shifting to 5th when gearbox was cold. Recently it started doing this thing where if I'm driving 60kmh and the revs are around 1500 the needle starts to bounce slightly and I feel it in the way the car drives, almost like the gear is slipping? Happens with cruise control too.

Revs feel floaty, shifts late around 3k rpms instead of 2k sometimes.

Manual mode works well, no issues keeping gears or shifting.

Gearbox oil was changed 30k km ago by previous owner.

It also used to jerk pretty rough when coming to a stop. It felt like it came from front right strut so I replaced them, but now the jerk comes from somewhere in the middle. I thought driveshaft bearing or guibo but it went away for a year or two. Now it came back and it seems to happen when the gearbox downshifts to 2nd gear, manual mode or automatic.

Clutch pack? Mechatronic solenoids? I reset the adaptations hoping it'd help but no use. No gearbox codes, but I do have the following:

Im returning to photography after a bit of a break, I only have the kit lens that came with my old 200D and a nifty fifty. I'd like to expand my arsenal with a telefoto for nature and car photography, but also considering a macro lens for snapping pics of bugs. Any suggestions, where should I look? Ideally don't want to spend too many hundreds on this.

Hey, I dabble in photography and I've been thinking of getting a Canon Selphy CP1500 for about a year now. I like the idea of a portable printer for my travels, and the ability to print something postcard size.

it's now on sale for 100 euros on amazon, should I snatch one? Also does anyone have experience on the 3rd party battery packs from amazon? Some people just seem to use a beefy power bank with a converter.

Hear me out fellas, a castle is cool and all, but what about... The ability for anyone to create anything anywhere anytime and share it as a playable map through the steam workshop?

I mostly play with 1 or 2 people, so I like small to medium maps, but I doubt we'll see any new ones anytime soon. Every game session is us going through the same few maps and calling it a day. The large maps like prison and school, are just too much, too many rooms for our liking.

But, imagine if you could have an inifinite amount of new maps through workshop levels, or you could even create your own. People are creative and crazy dedicated when it comes to creating good community maps in games, so why not?

I'm yet to test it with 12v but I've cleaned the connectors and checked that the wiring seemed intact. Waiting if the CEL lights up again now. I hope the mouse droppings on my engine cover weren't related to this.

I can find Bosch, vemo, topran, febi bilstein, aic, and OEM purge valves for M5 and n52 engines easily, really cheap too. But for some reason the 525i with m54b25 has only the oem one available. 110 euros. Pain. I'm guessing nobody makes it because the m54 was in the e60 for such a short time. part number 13907557923, supersedes 13907503986

Hello again, does anyone here have any experience replacing their diversity antenna? Could I just get any 868Mhz one from the scrapyard and avoid coding, or do I have to peek in and check the specific parts number on mine? It's a pre-lci 2004 525i, if that matters.
