i don’t “segregate” my RECORDS. i posted ONE picture of my favorite records i have from black artists mind u im black. that’s the only time ive ever “segregated” them… to appreciate black artists and post a lil something like “hey these are my favorite albums from black artists go support black artists!!”
and then YES I AM THE ORIGINAL PERSON WHO POSTED “the cd subreddit is much more chill/layed back” also i have an audio technica which i still find pretty cheap and i rarely play my records ONLY because im saving up for a new player!! i still listen to my records god damn it! i’m just lessening my plays rn so they can be in good condition by the time i have a good $500-1000 player and i can listen to my shit whenever i want. wicked work, this is. But being a meme comes with great responsibility…

so first i got posted in this bs because i said “these are all my favorite albums from black artists” and ppl were like “OHHH MY GOD WHY ARE YOU SEGREGATING YOUR VINYLS” mind u im black so i can say whatever i want abt MY people 😭 why can’t i appreciate my ppl they make good ass music.
then i got posted in here bc i said dont listen to my vintage vinyls as often but i literally have two copies of each vinyl , one vintage, one new. why would i play the vintage one and wear it down when i could js play the new one. yall are so pretentious in this subreddit you guys are doomed. i have all his vinyls. this is a cute and airy, melancholy but joyous subreddit full of people who’s aura feels like a September breeze, orange-yellowish sunlight peeking beneath few clouds. leaves ebbing and flowing through the wind, different shaped pumpkins placed everywhere your eyes look. the crunch of those leaves satisfy the soles of your feet. You smell the earth in its entirety, because it’s done blooming, now it is resetting, just like how you do when you sleep after a long day of walking through this hauntingly lush landscape. the taste of cinnamon still on your mouth from your neighbors kind gift of cream cheese frosting topped seasonal cupcakes. michael jackson’s thriller short film is permeating the air of your living room with creativity and passion. this certain passion is gently laid on your ears , because you are in your room, more than a few steps away from the tv, tucked into your bed. i’m just chronically ignored by everyone i don’t know what i did

it feels selfish to feel this way but i’d rather have something like pica or arfid. spending every second thinking about food and gaining weight is better than feeling like food is a chore and staying skinny.

this subreddit seems pretty awesome with a lot of smart and seemingly neurodivergent people ….. i just wanna know what yall are doing bc it’s confusing me and i wanna do what u do cuz it seems over the top and i like to be over the top
