mike with romero britto (2003)

"Romero Britto has created the single cover for What More Can I Give and a portrait of the King of Pop as a stamp. The latest was created in 2003 and in 2009 Romero allowed 50 copies to be produced."

im unsure which year the pictures were taken since different sources said different year. so if anybody can confirm them thatd be great🤍

took a long drive during sunset hours yesterday while listening to invincible ballads - i think im healed now

just wanna share this feeling of serenity and somberness with yall. a moment of brief reflection on my side.

i put on some ballad songs from the invincible album. rode past a beautiful empty field while the sun was setting. i think thats one of the closest things that made me feel holy since a long while. i dont have too many fancy way with words but the feeling speaks for itself. have any of you experience something like this while listening to his songs before?

gosh i wish he knew how much we still talked about him with so much love and awe. his influence cant be denied and his legacy will stay even after i am no longer here.

if i was demonstrating against s*ny and defending invincible with michael jackson id literally never shut up

"June 15, 2002 Michael Jackson leaves his hotel around 12:30 p.m. to attend a fan rally in front of the Sony Music offices on Great Marlborough Street in London. He arrives around 1:30PM riding on the upper deck of an open-top London bus, which had been arranged for him by a group of fans. Later, at the Equinox nightclub during a fan club event, the 'Killer Thriller Party,' Michael speaks about his dissatisfaction with Sony. Holding a banner made by fans, he reads: 'Sony Kills Music.' He announces that he will not release another album with this label after his box set. Michael is upset that his latest album, Invincible has not been promoted as thoroughly as his previous ones. Fans from all over the world have held angry demonstrations outside Sony offices to show their support for Michael Jackson."

ive been seeing several remarks from people - who either misinformed or ignorant - who seem displeased by the fact that this subreddit exists and we out here praising invincible. do people even bother to read anymore? why took five minutes of your day writing hate comment and jotting down wrong statement instead of idk, leave things alone?

if you dont think invincible is tHaT gOoD then feel free to NOT be in this subreddit. it's that simple. if invincible isnt your cup of tea, note that nobody is pressuring you to stay or be involved in the discussion, darling. it's all love for this masterpiece here. this space is created to bring more visibility to this underrated album and to reach more people who happen to share the same sentiment.

everyone is free to love his works however they please. you love his other albums more? great! but remember this is a pro-invincible space where one thing im not about to let slide is for this album be slandered or misunderstood - i made it very clear on the rules section. we all here to share the love, for mike and for the album.

so please read the rules and pinned post again. and dont hesitate to report harmful behaviours to mod team. lets keep this space pro-invincible - full of love and respect yall🤍

and as always dont forget to #streaminvincible❕✨

how did you discover invincible the first time?

it was after school when i usually tuned in to music channel. you rock my world short film aired and my life has never been the same since. found out that it was a track from his new album titled invincible and ive been waiting for its release. begged my parents to get me one as soon as it came out. it has been my cherished possession and will remain so for as long as i live haha.

i remember being so in awe by the beats and the emotions it evokes in me. i was already a huge fan of freestyle breakdancing and rnb and this album was the embodiment of it. it really feels like the grown, new mike is back with a punch. i had similar feeling when i listened to history album for the first time but invincible feels more explorative and experimental and i fall in love with the album just like that. honestly it makes me smile talking about this masterpiece - i truly cant help it!

what about you? do you remember your first time discovering invincible? how did it happen? please share it with me<3
