Hi,

I recently got the Uniqlo Airism boxer and I really like the fabric, thinner than my Adidas performance boxers.
The only downside is the Uniqlo is like 4” don’t know if they come in 6”.

The other one I seen recommended are Exofficio 2 but not sure if the fabric is like the Adidas or Uniqlo.

I would try merino but I’m afraid the fabric won’t last as my experience with modal fabric after one use was thinner in the inner thigh with lot of walking.

That why I mostly use polyester they last longer.

I been using the Adidas Performance Boxer brief 6” for a long time.

Looking to get more contact sensors, I already have a few Aqaras and they been working good im not sure yet of the battery life as less than a year usage.
I have a few from Amazon and one from Aliexpress $10.

anyone have any experience with the following?
reliable, signal, trigger times, battery life.

The Sonoff SNZB-04P is about $5 with a claimed 5yr battery life.

The new Sonoff SNZB-04PR2 about $10 uses AAA batteries with a claimed 3yrs life.

The Thirdreality AAA batteries with 2yrs life but a bit more at $20 when on sale like $14.

I guess price to battery life im more interested in the Sonoff 04P 5yrs for $5.

Due to size the Aqaras are in visible locations front door and sliding doors. the rest would be placed windows and garage door.

Looking to get 2 mmWave sensors to place in the garage.
I like to put them on the door tracks with magnet so when the door is open it could detect people entering.
PIR sometimes don’t work that good in the summer due to heat.

Anyone have the Thirdreality do they have a metal plate on the back for magnetic mounting?

Household pension income around 10K that includes SSA

Mortgage left - 114K interest 2.12%
Monthly payment 2,000 including $200 extra principal = total 2000
House value approximately 540K

Other expenses rounded up around 2300-2500 month
Stuff like, insurance, water, power, groceries, etc.

Retirement 401 - $175k
Bank Savings - $125k

Other big expense in 3-4 yr from now would be college for the kids.
And maybe a new car or used one.

So just wondering should we pay off the mortgage with the money from the bank?
We would be left with around $11k and then the extra $2k income that was going to the mortgage.
Any advice welcome,
