I have always lived alone and moved back home late last year… it’s been stressful at work and needed alone time haha I just wanna be able to have a day to myself at home without anyone talking to me. So I booked this and 2hrs later, I got there to just sleep, ordered Grab, watch a movie, walked along Roxas Blvd….
Non-stimulating, a little bit of movement, relaxing or chill… Been working night shift this week and need some outdoor and activity time.
Currently looking in Marketplace and I don’t wanna get in Greenhills (unless there’s box and warranty/serial number match?)….
My budget is limited, 15-17K so can’t afford brand new. Also Shoppee cost 21K

I stayed for a month last year and would’ve stayed longer, but I had to head back home.
I’m currently in a season where I really need slower island living away from the city while I figure out my next steps career-wise. I know it can be touristy and not always the “slow life” all the time, but I’ve experienced it already and I’m still drawn to it and the kind of life I want for now.
I really love the social side and doing activities, but I also enjoy the chill, slow, lounging lifestylexxz so I’m hoping to find a good balance of both.

What’s the day-to-day reality like compared to just being there on vacation?
How was it meeting people and building friendships long-term (vs hostel life)?
Do you actually need a scooter the whole time, or are there ways around it without spending too much?
Any areas you’d recommend for longer stays that are budget-friendly but still livable?
How did you handle internet and power interruption, any setups that worked?

I have eye grade of 600+. I can do contact lenses which I use when swimming.
Since I’m just gonna do an intro class, do I need to get a prescription dive mask before going or I can do with regular one + my contacts?
