Steamed ginger fish like Foodland’s hot bar?

This may be totally obscure, but I’m hoping enough people travel to Hawaii and might know 😂

When I was there last June, Foodland’s hot bar had this steam ginger fish that had sliced chili peppers and cabbage in it.

Omg it was so good, we got it nearly every day we were there.

I think it’s a pretty popular/common Chinese (American? unsure) dish.

But are there any places in SD that do it really well or even similarly to Foodland that I should check out?? I miss it 😢

Old abandoned house in Greece

My husband is visiting his family in Greece and they stopped by his grandmother’s house in his father’s village that’s been pretty much abandoned the last couple decades

I thought the colors and patterns were really cool and wanted to share with you all ☺️

In-home lifeguard for pool parties

Does anyone know somebody who is available this Sunday to lifeguard for a pool party?

Going to watch the World Cup finale and don’t want the kids to be at risk while eyes are on the tv

How long were you unhappy for before you decided to discuss separating?

For those of you who were the ones who were unhappy in your relationships and decided to pull the trigger on separating. How long did you live/exist in your unhappiness before deciding?

I’ve been with my husband 11 yrs, married for 7 of those.

The past 6 years have been highs and lows. We did couples counseling a couple years ago and it helped for a time and then went back to highs and lows.

It’s been about a year where I’ve been feeling really emotionally detached and disconnected from him. I’ve been thinking about talking to him about separating.

But I dunno, a part of me is like, am I being too hasty? Should I give it another year or two?

When it isn’t a toxic relationship and there’s no abuse and it’s moreso just 2 people who may be incompatible with each other and have grown apart. How do you really know when to separate??

Luxury Vinyl Plank bulk?

Are there any places in town that sell luxury vinyl plank in bulk? I know about Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Floor & Decor. But it can be a pain to track down which location has all the boxes we need.

I was thinking it’d be nice if there were a place in town that has a lot of stock for recurrent bulk orders

Best places to watch World Cup near Ko Olina??

I’ll be arriving the day before the opening ceremony and a lot of matches will be on quite early in local time.

Curious if anyone knows any soccer bars nearby? Any doe-hard ones that opens up early for the early games?

Anyone with kids around 4-7? How did they handle it?

If you have a good coparenting relationship, how did you structure things?

What did you tell the kids so that they understood and was least disruptive to their lives as possible?

F/41/5’4” [147lbs > 123lbs = 24lbs] (9 months) Jan compared to now!

I started taking my health more seriously last August and am down 24 lbs (not counting the 50+ lbs I lost after each pregnancy too).

I told myself I can get to my high school weight if I locked it in and I’m just 5 lbs away from my goal!

Just been doing 30mins of dumbbells 3x/wk, 30mins of running 3x/wk, some yoga sometimes. Tracking my calories in MFP.

Kid-friendly beach restaurants?

Does anyone have any favorite beach spots you bring your kids to?

My husband has a happy hour tonight, I was thinking it’d be fun to pick up the kids (6.5 and 4) and take them somewhere overlooking the ocean or on the beach or near the beach….

Is anyone wearing kitten heel jelly sandals? Are they tearing up your feet?

Steve Madden makes some cute ones, I’ve seen some on Amazon that might look too cheap (so I’ve read)

Open to suggestions if anyone’s found a good one!

They look super cute for summer, but I’m nervous they’ll tear up my feet especially w the thong in the middle.

Korean restaurants for large groups?

Can anyone recommend a Korean restaurant that would be able to accommodate 3 families together (13 people total)?

We all want to hang out and get Korean food with the kids, but it’s seems hard with so many people.

Are any of you using Utility Connect to start services?

I just found out about this company

How do you like it?? Anything I should be aware of?

We flip houses and are constantly googling the local utility companies and turning on/off services. If I have to start/stop services on 3 houses in a day it does take a bit of my time.

Just curious how you’ve felt after you actually separated?

Do you feel like you got some relief?

Has it just made raising the kids and everything else harder/even more complicated?

Any regrets?
