Had Sudden Issues With My Warp Line This Week & Wondering If Anyone Knows What May Have Caused It

I want to start off by saying that this is not a complaint. I was on Chat with support last night for almost two hours trying to get this fixed and they were great. Since the cause never technically got fixed or figured out I'm genuinely just curious what could have happened.

I posted a couple of days ago that my Warp line would lose cell service for about 20 seconds at a time several times a day. And anytime I tried to make a phone call it immediately dropped the first time because I would have no signal all of a sudden. Sometimes I would have to attempt the call 3 or 4 times. Also when people were trying to call me they would get a network message that stated "We're sorry your call cannot be completed at this time". And sometimes that message would then direct them to call 611. I also had issues with data, I would be using the web browser or streaming music and then it would just go to no signal.

I knew it wasn't an issue with the phone mostly because of the network message people were getting when they tried to call me. If it was just the phone being broken then they would just get my voicemail. It also wasn't an issue with the local tower because this happened at home and work and my job is about 40 minutes away.

So I contacted US Mobile support through their chat last night. The person could not have been more patient and helpful. Honestly it was great dealing with them. We tried adding a new APN, resetting network settings on the phone, they tried something with the network on their end I guess but nothing worked. After two hours I was exhausted (it was now after midnight) and I finally asked what the rep what if you just teleport my line to Light Speed and I'll just change networks for now. So they did that and now everything is working great.

But I really just genuinely want to know what could have happened. I'm pretty confident that it's nothing that is US Mobile's fault and is an issue with my line on Verizon's network. But it happened so suddenly and after two full days of hoping it would fix itself I finally had to do something. I have elderly family members who don't text so they need to be able to reach me by phone.

Any ideas what could have happened? I've used the verizon Network with different MVNO's for several years before landing on US Mobile about two years ago and nothing like this has ever happened.

I also want to add that US Mobile's customer service is outstanding.

Help My Daughter Lost Her Gen 2 Air, Then Found It Two Weeks Later And Now It Won't Pair And Says It's Already Linked To Another Account

My daughter lost her Gen 2 Air a few weeks ago and to our surprise I found it today when vacuuming my car, it was wedged under the passenger seat railing. Thankfully it's silver so I happened to just see a small reflection.

The ring was completely dead so we charged it but now it won't connect. It no longer shows in her app as a connected device and when she tries to connect it she gets an error message that says it's already connected to another account. It could not have been paired to anyone else's account because she never removed it from her account plus it was under seat of the car for three weeks.

We tried removing the ring from the phone's Bluetooth setting which also did not solve the issue. Any ideas?

Suggestions For Best Drop Off / Pick Up Locations For SPAC Concert

I'm likely bringing my kids and few of their friends to the Pitbull concert. I've been to quite a few SPAC concerts over the years but I've never dropped off or picked anyone up at a SPAC. The drop off likely won't be an issue but from what I'm reading the pick up is difficult with getting out of the parking lots. I could have sworn I read some suggestions in this sub in the past but a search isn't really bringing up any results. I have to work early the next morning so I'm hoping to not get stuck in a hour's worth of traffic trying to get out of there. Are there any good pick up spots where we could get out rather quickly?

Convertible Top Clanking/Snapping Noise When Putting Top Up

My 2022 GT Convertible has an issue when putting the top up. It sometimes makes a clanking noise when the top is almost fully in the up position. Sometimes it's very loud and sometimes it's just a slight clanking noise. It doesn't do it all the time, in fact it's probably about 20% of the time that it's a loud clank and maybe 50% of the time it makes any clanking noise. The other 50% of the time it goes up smoothly with no noise at all.

The car is now out of the factory warranty as of January 2026. I want to bring it to the dealership but any time I bring any issues that don't happen 100% of the time they always give the cannot duplicate issue.

Any ideas of what this could be causing this? Is the a danger of causing more damage if I keep putting the top down until this gets fixed? I attached videos so you can hear the noise. It didn't capture the sound perfectly but it's coming the rear window area of the convertible top.

Can An On/Off Rocker Switch Be Added To The Wire On This 12V Car Splitter?

Is there a rocker on/off switch that I could splice into the middle the cord on this 12V socket splitter? The 12V port is in the console and is always on even when car is turned off. I know I would obviously have to cut the wire but I don't know what kind of switch I would have to use.

Question On Goodyear Assurance Maxlife2 Tread Qear Warranty & UTQG Rating

I need new tires for my Maverick Hybrid and I've been torn between the Goodyear Assurance MaxLife2 and Michelin Defender2. Both have high tread life warranties and the Goodyear Maxlife2 seem to have slightly better ratings in almost every category such as wet handling, wet braking, snow, etc.

Two of most important things I'm looking for is low noise and durability. Reviews seem to mostly agree that the Maxlife2's are quieter than the the Defender2's.

But one that that really has me holding off on the Maxlife2's and has me kind of confused is the treadwear warranty. I was reading a comparison review on Top Tire Review and they stated:

Based on Michelin’s own test report, it was reported that the expected mileage of Defender2 is at 94,400 miles vs Goodyear’s Assurance MaxLife at 51,900 miles.

I know that treadwear warranties doesn't exactly mean that the tires will last that long but that's a large discrepancy. Is it normal for them not to last anywhere near what the manufacturer claims?

Also does anyone have any additional suggestions for either of these two tires.

================================================================

Wear/UTQG rating

We have previously shown that UTQG tread wear rating can be a good indication of your expected mileage. Below are the UTQG values of both of the tirelines.

Brand Tireline Size Tread Wear Traction Temperature
Goodyear Assurance MaxLife All 820 A B
Michelin Defender2 All 840 B B

The mileage warranty for Defender2 is at 80,000 miles while Assurance MaxLife has a higher warranty at 85,000 miles. The mileage warranty was not aligned as Defender2 boasts a 20 point higher UTQG tread wear rating compared to Assurance MaxLife. Apart from the UTQG tread wear rating, based on Michelin’s own test report, it was reported that the expected mileage of Defender2 is at 94,400 miles vs Goodyear’s Assurance MaxLife at 51,900 miles. This in terms provided an 80% advantage in wear for Defender2 !

For more in depth information about UTQG, please check out this article here. We even have a free download on the latest UTQG values from the leading tire manufacturers.

Defender2:

  • +81.9% in wear

Looking For Suggestion For Best Compact Lug Wrench

I had to change a flat recently on my Daughter's Mazda and the lug wrench that came with the vehicle was of course worthless. I'm now in search of a better solution for all of our vehicles. I want something that is still compact and can be stored out of sight with the spare tire.

What do you think would be a better option, a telescoping Lug Wrench like one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/EPAuto-Telescoping-Wrench-Wheel-Sockets/dp/B071FV7XVM?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1

https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-1721-Telescoping-Wrench/dp/B000CMJ2KU?th=1

https://www.amazon.com/Cartman-Telescoping-Lug-Wrench-Wheel/dp/B00RF95TDC?th=1

OR

Would a folding 4 way lug wrench be a better option like the Cartman 14 Inch 4 Way Folding Lug Wrench:

https://www.amazon.com/Cartman-Universal-Folding-Wrench-4-Way/dp/B09981VBDP?th=1

There are several brands like the Cartman that all pretty much look the same, Harbor Freight even has one.

Parking Suggestions For Concert At Prudential Center. Looking For Easiest Lot To Get Out After Show

I'm taking my daughters to a concert at the Prudential Center in Newark next week. We're coming from upstate NY. I don't mind a bit of a walk to the arena. I'm hoping to find a lot or garage that won't have a long wait just to get out of the garage of lot. Any suggestions?
